  • GTX 1080 predicted pricing and release date in Lebanon

Till Now I have the following Details:

below will be n stock within 3 to 4 days as max

912-V330-001 MSI GEFORECE GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G @ 565$ +vat = 623 USD
912-V801-1295 MSI 8GB G5X GEFORCE GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION 795+vat = 874 USD
1070 founders edition 535+vat = 588 USD

from CGS Computers Pro - Kaslik

eVGA 08G-P4-6180-KR GeForce GTX1080 Founders Edition 8GB GAMING Whisper Silent Cooling Graphics Card : $749.00 + VAT = 824 USD

eVGA 08G-P4-6170-KR GeForce GTX1070 Founders Edition 8GB GAMING Whisper Silent Cooling Graphics Card $488.00 + VAT = 536 USD

From PC& Parts

Finally , Macrotronics has the highest prices:

MSI GeForce GTX1070 GamingX GDDR5 8GB for USD 660 (VAT Included)
MSI GeForce GTX1080 GamingX GDDR5X 8GB Dedicated for USD 950 (VAT Included)

Stocks Are Still Limited , but at least it is a local warranty + less headache in shipment from abroad and RMAs. I suspect priced will drop even when stocks are more available , Pascal lunch prices are higher than Maxwell two years ago. I am leaning toward the SI GeForce GTX1070 GamingX GDDR5 8GB. Your Opinion.

What Do You Think of the MSI GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G it is for USD 624 in or Shall I Go with the MSI GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G For USD 860 In My Country , it will be approximately 35- 40% price difference here. Worth that for the performance increase of the 1070 OC vs 1080 OC.

pcandparts offer is tempting but I prefer not to get an FE card, the gigabyte G1 look amazing though
Soon I will be Getting the MSI GTX 1070 GAMING X - the G1 Gaming is Great but Also , comes a hefty price especially in Lebanon. MSI GTX 1070 GAMING X is good around , good cooler , and factory OC.

TORX 2.0 Fan , very efficient and silent
1797 MHz Boost / 1607 MHz Base / 8108 MHz Memory (OC Mode) and more headroom to OC.

I can get the 1080 Oc , I have the money , but is hiccup to pay USD 850 for a card now that will be beaten by mid-rangers in the near future , and I say near future since 2 years elapsed (only one generation between Maxwell and Pascal) and 1070 ~ the Top Dog of Maxwell (Titan X). Vega seems a March 2017 release , and August will witness a 1080Ti (DDR5x most probably) /Titan P release with most probably HBM 2.0 12GB /16GB Stacks , but with a very high price too I suspect ~ 950 - 1000 USD in Lebanon for the 1080Ti. Therefore a 624 USD for a Titan X Performance Card , is fair enough as a new graphic card investment.
Shop and ship? >.<

At the moment no.

Do you know someone coming from abroad (USA) to grab for me one :)
But you refused to buy a blower style card before, what happened to high standards! :)
Huh?

Oh, him.
In my humble opinion EVGA seems to have the best gtx 1080 cards. It seems they are capable of oc'ing more than others while remaining
stable not to mention the fiasco where msi and asus where found to be messing with review units. If you guys have someone coming from the states I suggest the evga gtx 1080 FTW edition. Unfortunetly for me, buying from Dubai I only had access to the superclocked edtion, but at 20$ more the FTW edition is the way to go!

Still on the point - customs all the way , how ever the list contained some tempting solution like the 1080 AMP! Extreme ;)

The Site is Currently Under Construction , but the General Manager (Mr. Giscard Hamaty) is very friendly and a hardware Enthusiast , out tech colleague in this group Ngel introduced me to him - The GM mobile number is 03 642 627 and Email: info@gcscomputerpro.com.

His prices are relatively lower even comparing to PC&Parts and he can make special orders from outside.

1x AC-HUEPS-M1 / NZXT AC-HUEPS-M1 Hue + Smart RGB Color Changing Digitally Controlled LED PC Lighting ( Led strips included) for 59 USD + VAT
2x AC-HPL03-10 / NZXT AC-HPL03-10 HUE+ Extension kit for USD 19 + VAT ( Added: I need a Total of Two Extension Kits: 2*19 = 38 + VAT)
1x RF-FN142-RB / NZXT RF-FN142-RB FN V2 Case Fan 14CM for USD 9 + VAT
1x CWCH110i-GTX / Corsair CWCH110i-GTX Hydro H110i GTX 280MM Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler for 139 + VAT
1x Thermaltake AC-033-CN1NAN-A1 TtMod Sleeve Cable – Red/Black for 50 USD + VAT
Kingston HyperX Fury White Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model HX318C10FWK2/16 , I need a set of 2 ram slots = 2 x 8GB Hyper X Fury / White @ 1866mhz (since some models are set at @1600mhz) which means a total of 2 * 32 = 64 USD + VAT
MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X @ 555 USD + VAT

His Offer is the Above comparatively with PC&Parts (If you Want) + a local shop warranty.

@ 555* 1.1 = 610 USD the MSI 1070 GAMING 8G is about 35% with local warranty compared to the United States , which is a fair deal taking into consideration shipment . customs . Local warranty , VAT , and profit margin.

well without a website and a clear pricelist, we won't know about it
I just remembered it, I got my PSU from it when I used to work in Jounieh, a friend introduced me to it, it was a couple of dollars more expensive than pcandparts (without shipping), if his prices are good he really needs a website with the option of shipping with Aramex just like pcandpart
Tech Guru wrote His prices are relatively lower even comparing to PC&Parts and he can make special orders from outside.
Good to know, because I'm thinking of ordering an Antec PSU and other parts (that pcandparts doesn't have) when I build my new rig.

Is this any good for a single GTX 1060 (when it's released) ? If not which PSU (in the 600W range and fully modular) do you recommend ?

MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X Recent Review /Seem The card rocks :) - I like this Guy of "Hardware Unboxed" a relatively new tech channel awesome detail oriented without bias/lazy reviews. Recommended.

Concerning a Website/Aramax Delivery yep very recommended to have yet he has a delivery service. But the point here all parts weather GCS , PC&Parts , Macrotronics ... Ships either from specific offshore sources or from local distributors. Personally I prefer physical shops on PC&Parts "warehouse approach".
