I care mostly about browsing the net, i rarely watch long videos . so Htc scores great in my book regarding battery.
Exactly! It all comes down to usage! I browse the net on my iPad.
I mostly care for pure screen/cpu/gpu battery performance since i mostly do social media stuff and some light gaming.
kfc wroteI just called gomobile. The HTC 10 shipments are still at the airport. They will be released by end of next week.

Launching price: 600$
Great news! Not as high as I thought! Hope that's true (on their side I mean).

It's very good, cheaper than Europe (official price), perhaps he forgot to mention the VAT thingy ;)
But even though Amhaz will be forced to drop under 600$ sooner than expected

HTC 10 camera patch: Updated impressions and sample shots

http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-10-camera-patch-updated-impressions-and-sample-shots

General observations:

Compared to the earlier firmware, HTC has addressed some of the issues we saw with loss of fine detail, particularly in HDR shots. It also appears to have upped the saturation and sharpening applied to photos, which is most visible in bright daylight shots.
In night shots, we're noticing less chroma noise compared to the earlier firmware.
The issues we encountered where the camera app would think the laser autofocus is being blocked when taking macro shots has been mostly fixed. We came across it once or twice in our testing of the new software, but nowhere near as much as before.
While photos in general appear sharper than before, we're still seeing some cloudiness and mushiness in certain daylight pics compared to the Galaxy S7.
And taking macro pics — though much improved thanks to HTC's laser autofocus fix — remains more of a challenge than with Samsung's camera, with noticeably slower focus times.

And I was wondering why on earth HTC10 is losing every speed test battle I watch on youtube while running the smoothest and lightest skin on android... and then i saw this:
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_10_storage_read_write_speeds_below_average_with_other_flagships-blog-18091.php

This explains it perfectly! This is why launching apps on the HTC10 is slower than launching them on the s7 and the g5!
Too bad! Seems they are using the old eMMC 5.1 which is not on par with UFS.

I'm impressed by the G5 to say the least! It's even beating the s7! It's undeniably the fastest 2016 android flagship!

Last sentence from that page:
"However, we just want you to know that if you really did want to get a phone that works faster in this aspect, you have a couple of other choices."
The G5 has terrible build quality due to the modular design. Check DetroitBORG's review on Youtube. I think I've decided to get the S7 edge. No UFS is definitely a dealbreaker in 2016.
Already ordered 3 Micro-USB to Type C Xiaomi adapters from Aliexpress for only 1.80$ piece!!
From what I understand it's better to use actual micro USB cables + adapters instead of Type C cables because some of them could ''burn'' your device.
This time I hope I can bypass the need for a Ice View cover (new kind of Dot View) and only use a tempered glass
Yep, nowadays no needs for a pocket camera, smartphones can do the same, only DSLR are still superior, Full Frame DSLR can take noiseless photos even with ISO 12800

May be true but I don't think all of them has these issues!

Yesterday I passed by Private Cell and saw the phone in hand and checked it meticulously! It was perfect! Not a 0.1mm gap, no lines, nothing!

Besides even if it has such issues, in my opinion, its pros outcome the cons! Modular and removable battery over build finishing!
I'm gonna use a case on the phone after all!
a second slower to open an app is not a big deal, as long as the rest of the experience is fluid.

HTC got a good shot this year to make up for last year.

Yep the UI itself is blazing fast, no lags at all.
I think Peter Chou was a very good CEO in the 1st years of HTC but he did a bad M9 and camera choices of 4mp on M7 and M8. The new chairman is new blood and more aware of what people expect from a smartphone in 2016.
Now let's wait for gomobile to get it so prices settle down, as long as Stars is the only source they can put whatever price they want
Gomobile is selling the 10 starting today
Launching price: 690$
All colors available
2 years warranty

I am waiting for Stars move as they priced it yesterday 700$, for their sake they should drop the price between 600 and 640$.

Edit: Spotted at Gold Cell Mar Elias at 680$ with 2 years Gomobile Warranty!
Why am I feeling it will be 650$ next week with Gomobile...Things are beginning to move with the 10's price, I will pass by Stars today to see their reactions to the official price ;)
Stars will only decrease their price 3-4 days from now I think. I would wait until Monday 23rd to buy one, thats when the price will settle at a normal level I would guess,
Salloum wroteStars will only decrease their price 3-4 days from now I think. I would wait until Monday 23rd to buy one, thats when the price will settle at a normal level I would guess,
Yep, by the end of the week Stars will decrease to 600-630$, then Gomobile version will be 650$ next week (and for a good moment), Stars will have to decrease again to something under 600$.
This time Gomobile went with 2 years warranty, Stars will have to make a good difference in price or else everyone will pay the extra bucks and get the long and official warranty.
So like you said by the end of next week/ Monday 23rd it will interesting to buy it from Stars (if they go under 600$).
It will take me some time to sell my A9 anyway :)
So it's going faster than we thought!!
Today price with Gomobile warranty is 660$!!!!
Stars Amhaz is completely lost, they don't know which price to put anymore, yella we won't have to wait till the 23rd apparently :)
knowyourmobile Review, Specs & Hardware Performance

The audio quality here is A LOT better than what you get with the B&O DAC for the LG G5, which just didn’t get loud enough. It’s also better than what you get with Apple, Samsung and any other player currently making phones in the mobile space. Here you have huge power, great sound quality, precise separation and the inclusion of Dolby processing which creates a bolder, more in your face sound when activated.
