MrClass wroteEither invest in the parts that offer perfect performance or don't bother. The stream performance has to be perfect otherwise its pointless.
1- Invest in the best access point there is. You need 450Mbps+ bandwidth to deliver an uninterrupted stream. Since you have an S6, I assume it supports wireless AC. Get an access point that can do 800Mbps or 1300Mbps over wireless.
2- Invest in a dongle that can take Gigabit Ethernet. Do not use wireless connection on the dongle side as the latency increases greatly. I do recommend getting an Apple TV. Even though you have Android, Airplay performance is great and I think Apple TV offers the best streaming performance. There are tons of apps on the play store that can let you have Airplay over Android.
I handled the project feasibility at work and have tested countless dongles. Ok performance is not ok, either go for the best performance or don't bother.
Thanks for your reply. That was was very helpful.
But if i don't get an apple tv , what would be te best alternative ?
