Oooops, 980ti went from "Email" to N/A on PCandParts ... good or bad sign? lol

haha bad N/A:Not available
they don't have it in stock, you can email them asking for the price for which it was sold and they will let you know once they re-stock if you want to buy one
yes i know it means not available, but they never had 980tis in stock anyway. i believe when they say "Email" they mean to order it from abroad for a specific customer

I have no experience with inno3D to comment
When paying this much money, you shouldn't take a chance on a company like inno3d. The tax of the early adopter is really big. You might regret it.
thank you Ghattas for the info, as much as Tech estimated, 940 dollars.

Silo, this is a reference card, only packaged by inno3d + even if it wasn't, they are decent card manufacturers , although not the most famous. check out their new custom 980ti, you will be surprised.

at this point i think ordering from abroad and shipping with DHL will be the way to go. it's around 650 dollars on newegg, and i think DHL will take about 100 dollars shipping, am i right? anyone ever shipped a GPU from abroad with DHL and has any idea how much they charge? do you recommend any other services like aramex?
You forgot about customs and tva.
I'm trying to find a reference but I can't find it at the moment, but Nvidia only manufacture the gpus and provide the designs for the cards to board partners themselves. Although most of those cards are made by Foxconn anyway, big mess.
from what i know DHL include the customs and TVA in their shipping fees
I don't know if it is 100$ extra for a 650$ item I ordered a 180$ development board and DHL took 100$ extra
you should ask them first i guess it will be about 150 maximum
I paid 175-180$ for my 980 priced at 629.99$.

I urge you to reconsider about ordering the card from outside.
As the first time i got it, it was defective, so i sent it back and they sent a replacement (And i paid all those stuff again, plus sending back the first card)
And now...i recently found out that the HDMI port on the replacement card stopped working.
And i am contacting them now for another replacement.
For Graphic Cards I have a rule of thumb :

1- For Graphic Cards: I do not Ship through the Internet or this ROG Fake Guy since bother are RMAs
2- Pay Lebanese Prices to prevent any hustle
3- If I want a graphic card and I mean I need it like my recent 980 Ti and not available in Lebanon I usually get from some one from the UAE through his bag. Dubai / Abu Dhabi products are good.
4-I do not buy 2nd Hand Graphic Cards.

When the card is available in Lebanon and to rely mitigate any risk of defective graphic cards and when I am paying a USD 400 plus for a graphic Card I usually get my desktop and test the GPU on spot as I do with PC & Parts ; Macrotronics or Microcity as such I mitigate any risk of telling me that your PSU is in adequate / if the item is defective for 1-5% chance not for me being blame that my system get defect the Graphic Card.

hmmm testing is a must but does pcandparts allow you to come over and test it? I once asked when I first bought my card couple of years ago and they said no we only deliver and it is under warranty + I once told them I want to come pick up my stuff since I was in Beirut they said it is only available through delivery but that was about 2 years ago
@Ghattas.akkad

I am recently being suspicious about PC & Parts operations in Lebanon - Since they are operating through a warehouse with not physical display of products as a store I will validate there VAT registration soon through the invoice they give me (I deal with the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry). What I usually do with them ; when they confirm to me the time upon arrival I tell him to wait for 10 m n to Validate the Graphic Card (I make the system 100% ready before they arrive) as such I tackle them on the neck since when they delivery they have been prepared everything and issued an invoice to me.

they do not let me test on arrival the aramex guy doesn't even go up to my apartment he waits downstairs until now I had no problem with pcandparts and they're prices are reasonable Vs others. But it is always better to test before signing but it seems an unavailable option with them specially with aramex delivery guys
Let him Wait no worries Tell him I need to test the item
Tech Guru wroteLet him Wait no worries Tell him I need to test the item
I will contact the company by phone on his arrival and let them now I will be testing the product they should inform him to wait
