Hi guys,
Any recommendations for a good gaming wireless mouse with 2 buttons on the left side ? I dont want anything fancy with more than 2 thumb buttons. I also don't want something very expensive.
A few years ago I bought the Logitech M705 thinking you can't go wrong with Logitech... now I need to really press firmly on the left button for it to work.. I opened the mouse and nothing is broken in there.
I have checked those 2 on pcandparts` website but their newegg reviews are bad, people are saying the wireless receiver needs absolute line of site with the mouse, the mouse freezes and the cursor jumps sometimes.

It has an ambidextrous form factor which means (as you can see in the pictures) that it has 2 buttons on the right side as well.
I am not sure I'll get used to that unless they can be disabled otherwise I might inadvertently click them with the small finger.

well the M9 Long Life has good reviews on amazon
But I say you should just go with a good wired one which will remove the hassle of not having batteries

If I want to eliminate the possibility of "jumpiness" I would go with a wired mouse, as you said.
But then this might be a good (less expensive than the Razor series) option from pcandparts:

If the Wireless feature is not that important, try Gigabyte Aivia Krypton.
It has 4 side buttons (2 on the left and 2 on the right), but you can only use two at a time.
Because the mouse has a feature that allows functionality to both Left handed and Right handed users.
So if you are a right hand user, you will be able to use the 2 left side buttons,
and if you are a left hand user, you will be able to use the 2 right side buttons.
I have it,and its awesome.

You guys with your puny mice :P
Got a Steelseries Sensai Pro here; blows away everything I have ever used before.
This thing breathes quality; if you can manage to get one, you'll never go back

you can get the bloody wireless mouse for about 50.000 LP .. there is someone near my house who sells these "in chiah"
I have one and so far so good "plus there is a hacker program inside that can help you auto-aim :P"

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is one of the best, if not the best mouse. The G402 is another excellent option.
Both unfortunately not available in Lebanon .

If you want a wireless mouse, the SteelSeries Sensei Wireless and the Logitech G602 are the best, if you want a wired, you have plenty of good mice I'll recommend the Logitech G302 Daedalus Prime, the G402 Hyperion Fury or anything from Zowie.

Go with the Bloody R8 mouse , it's a very good one with many features and two buttons on the left. Plus you have 3 profiles you can chose from and as NAM said there's a software that helps your recoil.
Also it's cheap and can get you like two days without charging

Ok thanks for all the replies.
At first I didnt want to spend much on a mouse so I was going for the
Gigabyte M6980 Pro-Laser Gaming Mouse or perhaps the
Gigabyte M8000X Ghost Laser Gaming Mouse
Then I read some bad reviews about how the buttons stopped working (which is the problem I am suffering from with my current Logitech M705 Marathon mouse).
So I am willing to pay more and I checked the razer series and I am hesitating between
Razer Taipan – Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse (wired) and
Razer Orochi – Wired/Wireless Mobile Gaming Mouse (wireless)
I am just worried the buttons on the right side will be annoying as they are both ambidextrous mice.
What do you think ?

I highly recommend the orchi, I have one. But you're right about the buttons being clicked inadvertently. You get used to them almost a day after use though.

I think I found what I want: simple, affordable and yet a Razer quality product and most of all, no buttons on the right side.

I am a current Razer Deathadder user and I have three words for you, DON'T DO IT. overpriced yet low quality, expect it to fail within a year, I am speaking from my own experience.

Just a word of advice the Bloody mouse is a bit heavier and bigger than the other mice .. while this is advantageous in First Person Shooters, it will hard to move in mobas "dota2 or league" .. the steel series and the G402 are highly rated .. i think either one will meet your needs
dg-1618
@haidcar I thought all the Razer mice were good quality.
@NAM and where do I get those mice in Lebanon ? What are their respective prices ?
haidcar
@DG just google "razer quality control", and you will get a better idea.
I am the current owner of 2 Razer products. The Deathadder that is as good as dead, and a Razer Timat headset which is okay but definitely not worth their asking price.

Die_Kapitan, I just asked about the Logitech "G302 DAEDALUS PRIME" and "G402 Hyperion Fury" and no one has them. Not even PCandparts. So where do you guys suggest I get them ?
