Feedback for IDM

well i have a great experience with IDM. i guess it depends on the line quality and the central. i have a 4MB connection with ping of 9ms to beirut and 70ms to europe and grade A or B on pingtest (depending on the server)

shady282 , from 2 months internet of IDM is slow and bad i don't know what happened .. i should call the technical support and ask what's going on.

try your internet in the early morning. if everything is fine then your connection is good and it is only because of peak hours that your connection seems unstable and slow in the afternoon. I never faced this problem before at any time of the day but lately the connection is slow during rush hours and that's because all centrals are congested. Even Ogero users who never complained before are starting to complain about it. try testing your ping... mine is great in the morning but suffers in the afternoon with a lot of packet loss.

unfortunately we don't have real IPs .. thus this is a shared connection .. depending on the time and the central, results may vary.. but i think you will love the night speed as it is always about 420kbps (on torrent with good seeds).

Thanks i tested my internet connection in the morning and was good, but i was wondering, can i give my username (the Lnumber) and password to my cousin so he can use my internet quota since i still have a big quota and few dates remaining. would it work if he connects the broadband with my account?

I think that the account is bound to your phone number .. if he has and extension to your number then it might work

Really slow internet here at Jounieh. I am with the 2MB/s plan and I am getting 30KB/s download max!!

And the Internet is down since 1am, Mazraa area.
Called support and they said they have a technical problem

Connection down since yesterday for me (Ashrafieh).

According to some guy from Ogero, they are going to fully monopolize the service providing, wtf ? I really hope this is not true.

what do you mean by monopolizing ?? and my internet connection is very good today... yesterday faced a little slow down but wasn't that much of an issue. (Ghobayri area)

Meaning not allowing other than Ogero to provide internet.

The IT at IDM told me that there is no problem at the central. It might be my line or router. But apparently I'm not the only one experiencing issues.

Haven't heard anything about a perfect monopoly, but I had downtime from approx midnight to 7-8 am in the morning. I called terranet and they told me Ogero is working on the central. All websites wouldn't open, however whatsapp and viber were working for some reason.

Internet still out in Achrafieh.
I called today and he told me that the problem is from the Achrafieh central.

This really sucks.
