Feedback for IDM

i called 1282 ext2 today to check my upgrade status
she said still pending and asked me to call again before charging my account
to know if i charge 2mb or 4mb which am waiting for!
anyone know the manager name or phone number i will talk to him direct

Don't bother.. i got my 4 Mbps 1 year after minister Sehnaoui announced the new packages. So i don't see why it should be any different with minister Harb. Ogero is the most useless company on the face of the earth and it's control over the central offices is annoying. There are some users benefiting from 16 Mbps just b/c Sodetel DSP is available at their CO..

If anything, i'd try sales but i'm still pessimistic about the whole thing.

hi has anyone noticed that most of the ports with idm are closed? Plz if someone could check Grc shield up (https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2). I checked on 2 different idm accounts and same result: most of the ports are closed.

You are behind a double NAT with no real IP address, of course they will be closed...

They ddnt used to be. And once they assigned a real ip and i guess they removed it... Is assigning a real ip possible? Is there a way to fix this?

No internet for the past 90 min... any similar complaint?

I noticed that after some kind of an upgrade made by IDM my bandwidth up and down limit has increased but my modem is now syncing to ADSL 1 (G.992.1). if I try to force it to sync to ADSL 2+ like it was before i get disconnected. Has anyone else noticed such a similar change?

Hey guys ! been a long time I haven't been around here :) . Anyway , to the point: I get my IDM connection through Bank Audi (domiciliated). The speed I got when I first applied ( I had chosen the 4mbps one back then, like a year ago or more ) was 1 mbps, because my CO (batroun) apparently couldn't handle more than that.

Anyway, fast forward to two months before the recent upgrades were deployed, I called IDM IT to see if I could upgrade to a faster plan. The guy asked for some figures from my modem (line attenuation , etc) and then told me they'll do a feasibility study and would reply within two weeks max. They never replied.

Now after the upgrades, I see that on the IDM website that I am subbed to the 2048kbps plan, but still I'm only getting 1mbps speeds! (~100KB/s).

Any advice?

Call them, blame them, be rude. That's the only way to achieve something with unprofessional employees.

i've applied for idm 70 days ago , still got nothing , and every time i call the say its going to take 3 more weeks....anyone had similar issue ?

They upgraded my plan to 6mb 60gb, but the download speed is only 200-300kb/s...

i fight with them today, i called 1282 ext 2 to ask about upgrade the lady said its nt ready yet and i have to wait again , same thing happen last month! anything can be done before i recharge in 3 september, shall i call the manager and talk to him direct

My plan was also upgraded but i won;t get the speed until my next refill ( a few days from now)

I know your question was directed toward wollyka, but IIRC my plan was already upped to 2mbps like a week before the end of July. Still havent gotten any speed increase though !!

Also, someone earlier mentionned that having it domiciliated (paid through the bank) is much worse than prepaid refills. Care to elaborate?

Domicilated plan is bad coz you never know how much they stealing. I say that coz my friend was Domicilated and noticed some over charges and when he asked for explanation he got BS. Also it was hard for him to switch from that nightmare called unlimited plan to limited, they told him they hadn't received the new plans yet. Yeah right!

I recommend you go prepaid much easier I refill via MyPicCard MasterCard I buy from a computer store next to me.

I am having more than 30ms closer to 80ms causing all my WiFi devices to get slow to no connection. I got a good router. They told me they currently working on entire infrastructure thus many of us might suffer from random issues. Work will take some 2 months to complete he said.

Did you contact them today? because it was fine yesterday and it increased 30ms, exactly 30ms today. That means two months of me not playing online.
