@H.S
Just called Sony World, they should have the new 32'' tomorrow :)

Any particular model? BTW I changed my mind and I'll be getting a 40 inch instead of a 32.

All new 2014 models

Do you think 32 and 40'' will get UHD in the coming 2 years or it will be sticked to 46'' + screens?
IF not perhaps I will do like you and replace my Beirut's 32'' with a 40'' and the 32'' to the mountain.
Tough I can't find a 40'' with 3 HDMI, fast input lag and good price (under 700$) :/

I highly doubt that there will be UHD TVs for such sizes. I was thinking of upgrading to UHD, but currently there is not much support for 4K resolution, all the next gen consoles are 1080p. Besides, most of them have higher input lag than the FHD models.
Look, currently there is a special offer on the 40 inch model of the Samsung F6400. The offer began about three days ago. It used to be $799, now it is priced for $666, it is very tempting for this price. The 32 inch model is still priced for $750 because the offer is on the bigger sizes. The only thing I don't like about it is the 40ms input lag, but from the reviews, I didn't read any complaints about it and especially when activating it's game mode. I also asked several people who are using it for gaming and they said that it is pretty good.
Still no Bravia here?

They brought back the 2013 32'' units lol!
Yeah I saw this samsung and it's very tempting as it has some smart features and internet built-in.
3D is non sense on anything under 46''.
There is a samsung 40'' with 27ms but 60hz(100hz CMR) 40F5500, similar smart stuff and internet for 630$ I think.
From the pro review games are very nice on it thanks to the 27ms input lag
h-s
That is very disappointing! Why would they do that in the first place?
As for the F6400, it is the best one in terms of picture quality and sepcs, I've seen it running side to side along with other Samsung models, it is the best.
vegetaleb
But are you ready to have some slow downs due to 40ms with fast games?
h-s
Actually that is the only thing holding me back, but it is the best TV available here.
vegetaleb
Bought the 40F6400 :) :)
After hours of readings it's a good TV for games.
Bought it from Abed Tahan but hurry there is only 1 unit in every shop.
Tried Watch Dogs with Game mode and there is no lag at all.
Picture quality is awesome!
I will try to grab a BR 3D from Big Tony tomorrow to try its 3D, the 2D to 3D is not real 3D
h-s
Congrats! So you couldn't resist the offer I guess? You got it for $666? Honestly I don't care much about the 3D, but it should be at least decent. In older Samsung models, when you activate game mode, the picture quality and colors will get downgraded, does that happen with the F6400?
There is a software called CalMAN that will let you calibrate the TV to significantly enhance the colors and image quality. Personally didn't try it before but I thought that I should let you know.

Enabling Game mode will de-activate the 200hz thingy for sure as well as some image treatment, the result for movies is not bad.
Each HDMI has its own settings,so you can enable Game mode on PS4 HDMI while it stays off with your receiver HDMI

One thing, it's made in Egypt!!
I can't believe how better the picture quality is compared to my 2011 Samsung 32'' FHD LCD.
It's soooo crisp and detailed.
I chose ''Natural'' picture mode for HD TV channels and they look WOW!
h-s
Not to disappoint you, but that pretty much lowers the overall quality for gaming. I will be using it mostly for console gaming. Not having the 200Hz while in Game mode is bad. I know it has superb picture quality, but it will be reduced during Game mode. Also being made in Egypt adds to the "I am hesitant about purchasing it".
vegetaleb
There are many qualified techs in Egypt, more than in China and anyway you get 3 years warranty ;)
All LCD/LED TVs will de-activate the virtual 200hz in game mode so that the CPU works on the input lag rather on the fake 100-200-400hz, so even if you buy a Sony or LG or Toshiba they will all lower the hz to 60 unless it's Plasma.
All Samsung,Toshiba and LG TVs are made in Egypt since 2013 btw

@H.S
It looks like Game Mode is not limiting the Hz, it's Windows 8.1 itself!
Tried non Game Mode and it's also 60hz.
This TV is 120hz native so it won't slow its dual core CPU by using it, you just have to ''force'' it in Windows.
I will try this as soon as I come back home

From what I understood a 3D Active 60hz(glasses) = 120hz in 2D which is the case of this TV.

After extensive testing with PC games, without Game Mode you can play lot of games without any perception of lag (Tomb Raider,Castelvania 2, Walking Dead series, COD Ghost...) though because the guns themselves are not very stable and slow in Battlefield 4 it's recommended to switch to Game Mode.
Again Game Mode has nothing to envy to other modes, you have to tweak some picture settings(sharpness 10...) and you will get the same graphic results.
Tried some Xbox 360 games like Metal Gear Dead Rising,Max Payne 3,SSX,Far Cry 3 and Prototype 2 and none shows any lag at all.
Another thing: plug the HDMI into DVI labeled one on the TV for even less input lag.
Input lag using Game Mode has been scored between 30 and 40ms from serious websites.
Firmware updates are released every 2 weeks now (today I am downloading a brand new one) so they can speed up the TV with them (perhaps they did already).
All and all I don't regret this series 6 by samsung, it's delivering superb image for games,3D and HD movies. My old 32'' from samsung is nothing close in terms of picture quality.
