Well I consider myself a conservative Christian and I have no problem with climate change. I have absolutely no problem with any natural change.

World creation in 7 days is a metaphor/legend/story to give a religious depth to the world creation, which nobody knows exactly how it happened. It's also a way to explain human arrogance and the reason why/how sin brought death.
Being a metaphor/legend/story is a known fact acknowledged by the church and everyone. I think you did not perform a proper search.
