Well he delivered to me!
Me too!
As long as you are in Beirut perhaps...
Bought S4 (again),N5 reviews are not so good, screen is average, speaker volume is low and camera is good but not as good as S4.
I will flash a GE kitkat rom on my S4 and will get best of both worlds ;)
N5 beats the S4 in the US in some few reviews because of the price (350-420$),trustedreviews said themselves it's an excellent phone as long as you get it in the US only

I had my brother in the US buy the phone for me, and he sent it with a friend to Lebanon. I got the N5 32GB white edition, and have had had it for two weeks. The screen is most definitely NOT average :P. It is a beautiful screen! And add the fact that with Kitkat, the icons are nice and big, and there's a new font in use, so everything looks gorgeous. I have a friend who has the Xperia Z, and the color reproduction in the N5 is a lot nicer. Another has the Galaxy S4, and I think it competes with the N5's display. Speaker volume however is pretty low, but the sound is excellent. It sounds like it were coming out of earphones. The camera is great. I honestly don't know why everone says the camera isn't good! The same friends with the S4 and the XperiaZ also agreed that the camera took excellent pics, and even iPhone users said as much...
Anyways, I am a Google fan so I admit am a bit biased, but in my opinion this is an excellent phone with great specs, feels smooth and is a joy to use, so unless u want the added functions Samsung offers (smart stay, etc...), get the N5.
Of course that's if you're able to get it from abroad. Just as a matter of principle, I never would have paid $620 for this phone when its actual price tag is $400.
The Nexus 5 screen is arguably the most accurate display in an Android smartphone. It's been calibrated from Google, is not wide gamut, has whites close to 6500K and gamma close to 2.2, good contrast ratio and high brightness.

It's the S4 display that is oversaturated and still inaccurate even after 3 generations, though vastly improved from the 1st implementation. Wastes those excellent black levels IMHO.

Wide gamut displays should not exist until content is designed for wide gamut. It's just like bass in audio, people go WOW for the wrong reasons.

Anandtech review:
The end result is easy to sum up, however – Nexus 5 has the best calibrated display I’ve seen so far in any Android handset. It’s also leaps and bounds more accurate and controlled than its predecessor display in the Nexus 4.

Google Nexus 5 reportedly gets a redesign to fix hardware flaws

http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/news/nexus-5-reportedly-redesigned-to-fix-hardware-flaws-gets-spotted-in-images-459221

Shinral claims that the new batch of Nexus 5 smartphones returned to users feature a reworked design, without any of the defects/ issues reported. The new batch of Nexus 5 is said to come with more flushed buttons to avoid noise and fixed protruding SIM tray. Notably, the new batch of Nexus 5 smartphone comes with some other minor tweaks in design as well, including a larger speaker grill. The XDA developer forum member has also posted comparison images of the alleged new Nexus 5 with the first generation smartphone. The images were reportedly taken and sent by a user named infa89 to an Italian forum with the comparisons.

I got my Nexus 5 from Dubai, $520 for the 16GB, 32GB was out of stock due to Christmas n all. It's an amazing Phone, pretty fast, responsive, no micro-stutter, or lag anywhere, even when scrolling in G+while it's still loading !

I flashed all the custom ROMs currently available, as well as Kernels. Finally I have settled for Mahdi ROM 2.4 with its own modified Stock Kernel. And now I get 4 to 5 hours of on screen battery life compared to the 2 hours 20 I used to get on Stock. Sure, I did under-clock it a bit to 1.9ghz of the original 2.26ghz, and undervolted it just a tad.

As a side note, I hate the new "Law" put by MOT Sehnaoui, coz, as I mentioned my Nexus 5 came from Dubai, and my bro forgot to register it at airport, and it was Christmas, so time was not on our side. So if you are planning on getting it from abroad, make sure you have a passport with an entry visa that doesn't exceed 30 days, else you will be out of luck. Simply because shipping service won't do it for you, it will be up to you. That's if you want to use it as a phone not an expensive toy.

Thing is, if you don't do it at airport, you will have to do it at Alfa or MTC, and they do not accept photocopies. You need the actual passport, that you will have to photocopy there, in person. Hence why I hate that new law so much. I was lucky my sister was here, so my Nexus 5 is registered on her passport, since I do not travel much xD

In conclusion, this will be last time I get a phone from abroad. Only local. Sehnaoui won this round I guess. Also no more Nexus for me. I wanna try other brands. Will see next Christmas.
