I know about the newly introduced LGA 1150 socket, and I haven't bought my components yet. DO I have to get the i7 4770 instead of the i7 3770 ( with a board to accompany it of course) or it is too early for that? ( Consider, as I said, that we are talking in Jan ,Feb 2014) Performance is the same, right?
Haswell costs about the same as Ivy, and performs slightly better, and has less power usage as far as I know. I don't see a reason why you shouldn't go Haswell, especially considering you can ship the parts here.
(Sorry haven't seen Avo's reply so the question is no longer at stake ) Well, I ain't willing to ship the CPU here since i have to add 33% ( Might have said 23% in previous posts, sorry it's a typo ) to the price of the product, which in the case of CPU Only ( and some other products I guess) can be the same price to the price here in Lebanon, which is practically useless to ship. But my main question is, actually, can I find an LGA1150 compatible gaming motherboard for, lets say, $250 Tops?
@Yasamoka: Well, changing the GPU choice ain't a problem, but at least I got to hear you opinion ,advices, and so forth. Plus, I learned a lot from you guys, and I still have a lot to learn. ( Please remember I am a 14 year old, so I'm basically a kid ). Yeah I just read about the " Radeon HD 8000 Cards " to be revealed closely. Do you think the price tag would be " good" compared to my budget?
