vegetaleb wroteFinally I think I will go toward the 650TI BOOST 2GB,it has a good increase in performance for only 50$ more.
It beats the 7790 OC http://www.hardware.fr/articles/890-13/benchmark-battlefield-3.html
The 7790 is a much lower end card. And are you just checking BF3? Check all the games. Check the latest ones because newer games are developed according to the hardware which is available to it.

And yeah get the MSI 650Ti 2GB version from pcandparts. Not because it has more VRAM. It's an OC edition. Meaning better cooling and better build quality.
Avo, he's talking about the 650Ti Boost. An entirely different card. The 650Ti Boost definitely beats the 7790 at stock. It competes with the 7870/70. So that's good.

@vegetaleb: BF3 isn't the only game that matters. BF3 favors Nvidia slightly, to the point that the 680 almost matches the 7970 GHz Edition in BF3 (especially with AA off).

Comparing ONE game to determine differences in performance between two cards is not a good idea.

BF3 is FAR from intensive, compared to other games. I get 50FPS min in online multiplayer on my 7970 OCed in rare places, RARELY. 99% of the time it's over 60FPS.

Meanwhile, Crysis 3 runs in the low 30s - high 40s maxed out (with low-med AA).

Crysis, Crysis 3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs (w/ extreme AA), Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light, THOSE are rather intensive.
OMG Metro 2033 and Crysis 3 need a 600$ vga card to work in full hd,even the 660ti is under 25fps
I don't know finally if I don't keep my PC as its and play on xbox360 only...
That's on maxed out details. High details would still be possible with smooth framerates.

We're talking a difference of about 7-8-fold in power between Xbox 360 and 650Ti Boost.
Which one is more powerfull?
You mean on xbox360 games are less detailed?
Should I wonder about the Watt needs of the Geforce 650ti boost OC?
Does it need a more powerful PSU compared to the HD4850?
LOL Point of View... Heh.... Yeah get a decent 550W XFX Please :)
I have it for 4 years and never had problems,I calculate the Power needed online and got a recommended 380w but they have not listed the 650ti OC boost, only 650ti
Point Of View is a Chinese brand like "Mercury". They're generic. It may be marked as 500W but it might only give you about 300-400Watts. It's not a high quality power supply which your graphic card needs. It also not 80Plus certified. That means at high load, your DC power wouldn't be efficient enough to provide your PC with clean power. Your RAM and VRAM or GPU might get corruption if you keep using that PSU. The reason it's been running fine for 4 years is because your PC never used power above 250-300 watts. Your PSU degrades after years of use. So let's say your PSU could give you 400W of power.. It gets degraded over the years and can't provide 400W anymore but instead 350W.

So I suggest you get a new XFX 80Plus certified PSU.
Ok I will not buy a card anymore,f**k it I will keep playing on my xbox360
Everytime I want to change a piece in my PC I have to pay 300$

Dude. Buy good components and you won't have to change them every year...

It's like buying one of those Chinese cars and expect them to last you 20 years.
Weird all the reviews I saw about the black diamond were positive, nobody complained about under-rated power

All PSUs are under rated. It's a standard. But the brand Point Of View is Chinese and not efficient. It's not a good PSU. It's not a bad PSU even. It's like 4/10.
Dude POV is not Chinese, it's based in Holland so the European rules of quality apply on their products. As ALL other known brands they have factories in China.

We are based in Holland with a European, multi-lingual sales team. However, our company includes Point of View Taiwan, Point of View China, Point of View Hong Kong, Point of View France and Point of View USA.
POV are amateurs. I have worked with POV in the past. They're just as good as Chinese. The brand is unheard of, and they're not experienced enough to provide such products. They're a brand like Mercury, Manly, Campomatic etc. They're a generic brand. They're like Aghasarkissian, where they buy generic components and slap a Campomatic sticker on it. I think Mercury and POV are from the same manufacturer as well. Where in heaven's name did you even find a review of the product?

I have dealt with Chinese graphics cards and PSU's and POV are just the same quality. Don't be fooled.
