Most(if not all) of what is listed here by everyone is natural things that can happen any day and any year, no need to be drama queens about it. Everyone has problems, I have many. Some people have way bigger problems, shit happens every year that doesn't necessarily make it the worst.

If you look at the full part of the cup, having problems here and there is healthy. That means you're active, doing something, trying to reach somewhere, working towards something. Those without any problems are dead because in reality they don't do anything or someone does everything for them. Do you want to be like them?
Not for me :D
The year started with lots of noise, its arrival didn't go unnoticed, that thing is sure about 2013...

Oh dear, I hope we didn't upset you, sir.
@yasamoka Why did you take it as an intent of me being negative about sharing problems? I was just giving general advice and motivation to everyone.
If it helps, remember you were the sperm that won ;)

Half of you perhaps...the other half was sitting there anyways, waiting.
Everything's getting fixed :D

We'll see. haha

I think we shouldn't rush to a conclusion for the year has just started and hopefully everyone would reach a happy ending,
and most importantly, whenever you're in deep s**t, take 30 seconds of full silence and isolation from the surroundings,
to avoid misusing <insert neurotransmitter name> rushes. It works perfectly for me.
my year was so bad too , i lost 10 $ in online poker :(
As long as you have your health, everything else seems trivial. You might not understand the value of this sentence until, God forbids, you fall into a major health issue.

As for my issues in short:
- Found out someone was stealing my Internet Quota by using my actual ISP account. Which prevented me from using the internet properly for almost two months thinking I was the reason the quota was being burnt up.
- Even though I got new phone cables and connected my router directly to the building's phone box, still having issues with line distortion.
- Bought a new router to replace my old one, just to realize it was kind of outdated and won't connect properly.
- 27 and still didn't buy an apartment, nor having any plans on getting married.
- Still working in the same bank hoping for some salary fixes.
- Barely playing guitar, and totally stopped drawing. Out of laziness, and online games.
- No big ambitions.

My life in short :P
Hi;

Well Badieh, you are 27 y/o with no apartment, join the club, I am 34 y/o with no apartment. As for getting married, after growing older and older, year by year, I just deleted the whole idea of getting married. A lot of my colleagues @ work are married and their wives have jobs, even the ones who have one child, they are struggling a lot. I thought the idea of getting married is to settle down, not to live in worry about tomorrow. Everything now days is super expensive including houses.

So my advice to all of you DON'T GET MARRIED, your salary barely making it till the end of the month when single, so how on earth would you make it with a wife and kid.

An old man once told me: "don't get yourself in something bigger than you can handle".

Regards.
guys chill you are still richer than 3 billion people !
check www.hirelebanese.com for work .. it is filled with entry level jobs
marriage is no big deal , you don't have to get any kids ..
i am struggling to launch my new It support company in Congo ..but it's all in vain ..entrepreneurship sux
@gen

Am 25 without any apartment and not even close on getting one since they are ridiculously expensive, the only way to get an apartment is to take a loan from the bank or have your father buy you one... I currently support my family if they have any additional fees that they can't pay or something, instead it being the other way around, as in they helping me settle and stuff... anyhow i think this is the case for most people...

Since am living with my parents i don't have many payments like house loan, electricity or something... I know everything is expensive, lebanese people tend to spend like crazy... so gen, maybe its not totally the system fault, at 34 you should have saved some money... if one job isn't doing the trick, you can get two jobs...

It is true that a lot of marriages are having a hard time supporting themselves and their kids. That is not the main problem tho, divorce is the main problem, hiding an ugly truth behind it. People no longer marry for love, acceptance, understanding, communication... Girls are getting married just for the sake of not ending up alone , which is leading to marriage problem with or without a kid. I believe that a marriage can go some length before reproducing, if there is love, acceptance and understanding... Sadly girls have become actors till they get married... My friend, relationship is about love, its about giving each other strength to endure... its not about lying in bed and getting a blow job every night, believe it or not there is more to it...

I have realized something very weird in humans. Humans, somehow have the ability to adapt in a really weird good way. They are able to face problem they couldn't imagine they can. When desperate, humans can be very creative and come up with ideas and ways to fix their problem and a lot of times they do. Neiztche believes that creativity comes from desperation ( if i read him correctly) and there is something to it. Am not saying do something totally stupid, but people are stronger than they think or like to think.

I remember my parents giving me $50 to spend each month. One month I got $75, so i knew that i can save that $25. One month later, I spent the whole $75 dollars and I had the same feeling when I use to get $50, that its too little! now $75 sounded too little!

These are hard time and one has to work a lot more to get a decent life. If you find a girl that loves, accepts, understand you and you can tell that she isn't acting ( hardest part ) then i would say do whatever you need to do to get yourself together... because its a gem to know that somebody would take you at your lowest... With her by your side, am pretty sure you can both come a long way.
In my opinion marriage and having kids in this country is a very stupid idea unless you have already a house and a salary of $3,000+ a month. And on top of that set up your mind, that all what you are going make, from the moment you commit till the rest of your life is for your family before it is yours. Because this is the truth for building a successful family in my opinion, being dedicated and prioritizing everything for your wife and children.

I can't see myself anywhere near those ideas any time in my current or future life. I don't like taking care or being committed to people other than those who owe me a lot already such as parents. What really bothers at the same time is that the culture/traditions/religion imposes a huge burden on you: If you want to go far within a relationship with your girl friend(such as living together and what that entails) she has to be your wife or else you and her end up being the talk of the town.
A word of advice, if what you have right now is not good enough, then work on something that is. Regardless of your religious point of view life is only one and if you are going to squander this gift complaining and pitying yourself then no point in having it.

Go out and try to change, if what you are doing now is not working then instead of repeating it and praying to God for a better future, go and change it.

You are right, most lebanese people tend to spend like crazy, but I don't fall under that category. I still have my mobile phone which was released in 2004, a small motorcycle to get me to work, and a regular specs quad core desktop.

Quote:"It is true that a lot of marriages are having a hard time supporting themselves and their kids. That is not the main problem tho, divorce is the main problem, hiding an ugly truth behind it."

Divorce wouldn't happen if both sides studied their situation well, and were honest and truthful about each other before getting married. See, a lot of people underestimate their situations, and they get on with their decisions, but at the end the hard bitter truth hit them.

Quote:"Girls are getting married just for the sake of not ending up alone , which is leading to marriage problem with or without a kid."

Totally agree, and I am seeing it a lot, it is because society/religion/culture thing that make something wrong with the girl if she is not married at a certain age. But at the same time if a girl married a man just for the above reason, she will end regretting it till the rest of her life (with or without kids). That is why when someone comes to me and say he/she is getting married (whether a man or a woman), I tell them take your time before having kids( at least 2 years), make sure he/she is a good person and you can live with each other.

Quote:"My friend, relationship is about love, its about giving each other strength to endure... its not about lying in bed and getting a blow job every night, believe it or not there is more to it..."

Who said sex is everything in marriage, it is certainly not.

Quote:"Humans, somehow have the ability to adapt in a really weird good way. They are able to face problem they couldn't imagine they can."

Yes, but when you are alone is something, and when you marry and have kids is something else. When you are alone every decision you make to a certain extent will reflect on you, but when you have a family it will reflect on them too.

When situations are good that would be idle. I don't want to be by her side with problems and worries taking their toll on our relationship.

You are 100% right, but unfortunately not all men think like you. They just get married and have kids with no plans at all, while everybody trying to advice them to take their time, to strengthen their situations more, but at the end wife and mostly kids suffer.
