Hope this is the right place to post this. Anybody ever promoted on facebook and paid for it? If so, may I please know the rates? I was browsing around, and they said the minimum is 25$ a day. How many persons see the ad for 25$?
I didn't personally promoted but a friend did, and it left a good impression on me. It seemed cheap to me, and he had the ability to target his audience quite specifically, and he was happy with the success and feedback - got many visits to his website!
If I want to advertize, especially for the Lebanese market, I'd think first about Facebook.

Well it depends on your budget. I always use vouchers, pay $5 for it and they have a credit of $50. I promoted my fan page. I had like 3000 likers now I have almost 20,000. My daily budget was $3.
@TheIlluminative, may I ask what you put in your ad, and how long you've been running it? PM me please, maybe this breaches the rules (self promoting on your side).
It's more about who you target than what you put in your ad.
$1 budget a day is the minimum you can put for an ad

It also depends on what you are advertising? Do you want facebook fans? Do you want to advertise your website? Advertising a Facebook story?

You have two kinds of ads on facebook, CPC (Cost Per Click) (You will pay when someone click on your ad) and CPM (Cost Per Thousand Impression) (You will pay when someone see your ad)
