Hey guys,

I am wondering, and hopefully i'll get some feedback on which earphone to buy based on anyones experience here.

The 4 earphones im looking into are | Bose Quiet Comfort 15 | Beats Mixr | Pioneer DJ 2000 | Audio Technia M50s |

Been saving up so I can afford one of them, any input is greatly appreciated. I used to own the BQC15, they were amazing to be honest. But I'd like to know if anything could be cheaper / same sound. Noise cancellation is not something I care much for anymore. Not when I was caught watching porn in them several years back but that's a different story.

I did a lot of research, but so many mixed opinions and I just don't know really know what to go with no more.

Anyway, thanks for the help :)
Sam,
First of, are you looking for headphones or earphones, your post say earphones and the ones you mentionned are headphones.
Second, can you provide more details as to what you are looking for exactly? Bass, clarity, volume, transparency, fidelity?
Or do you just want the best headphones for the money (in which case, I again recommend the Grados S80i for 99$. You can't beat those for the price).

Oh, and forget about Beats. Terribly overpriced in my opinion.

@d3ad, Seinheiser is one of the best of all time, but there's also the kind of music that you'd want to listen to. I'm a huge fan of opera and classic musicals, and when it comes to those, I'm afraid Seinheiser falls slightly behind Bose. Don't get me wrong, I just love both, and I'm not saying Bose is better, I'm just saying, you have to keep an eye on your requirements.
Hey!

Thanks a lot for your reply, I meant headphones. My bad!

Honestly, I just want headphones that have a good balance of what you mentioned. I'm not sure that transparency and fidelity are, I'm sorry I don't know much about headphones. Been reading up and learning but a newbie here.

I had a look at the Grados which you said are great, but I was looking for something to cover my ears, not on ear if you know what I mean?

Thanks again for the help!

Still didn't get it Sam,

"but I was looking for something to cover my ears, not on ear if you know what I mean?"

On ear covers your ears, but I assume what you want is something that goes inside your ear. Which means you want "earbuds" or "in-canal earphones".

Where are you planning on buying to be able to give you the best advice?

Basically I know there's on ear and over the ear headphones. I just guessed that means on ear is.. well on the ear and over the ear means it goes all around and covers the ears. I just searched it up, what I meant is Full-size headphones, not on-ear headphones.

I can buy from Amazon US, that wouldn't be a problem. There are a few also I saw from Virgin here in Beirut, like the Pioneer HDJ 500, but damn everything is over expensive here. Then again if I order from outside it will cost the same between shipping and customs.

So whatever you believe will be a good choice I will just buy be it here or from Amazon without thinking twice since you know what you're talking about.

In ear - I used to own the B&W C5 ( http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/Headphones/Headphones/C5/overview.html ) until they stopped working. Now I'm on the one that came with my old phone. Surprisingly they sound awesome.

Many thanks!
Well, a lot of it is subjective so if he thinks that Dre are awesome...
Where do you see awesome in any of my posts? I was just asking, didn't mean to give out that impression. Quite honestly they are nice looking. Everyone has them, something must be right, either good sound or good marketing.

Again I'm new to this, was just reaching out for some help.

Thanks again.

You read irony or negative feelings in my post where there were none.
It was a sincere post. It is very much a subjective matter.
My apologies then, but really any input would be helpful and thanks for taking the time to help.
