TPR0 You won't experience the 5.1 sound of the match or etc... You should have plugged in the 2 channels or SPDIF Jack in/out before posting a thread if you wanted that...
AVOlio Guys, I formatted my PC, and now, the 5.1 on it stopped working, i only the two front speakers working. The cable connections are still the same as before. Front speakers from the Woofer are connected to the front speaker jacks of the Mobo, as well as the Back speakers,Centre and woofer. I have VIA HD Audio as an audio driver, and its manager, VIA HD Audio Deck. Also have it configured on 5.1 in windows, and enabled Speaker Fill enhancement. Can anyone of you help me on how to setup a 5.1 surround from the Beginning on a PC.
DNA what is your motherboard? you may need to use the microphone and line in jacks as center, subwoofre and rear speakers
AVOlio My Board is Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H It has already jacks for Centre/Woofer and back speakers... (it supports up to 7.1 channel with its own onboard sound) But i have tried your idea about the Mic and line in... Still no result :/
DNA i am sure its your fault not the motherboard but i can't help you since i don't now what are you doing exactly and how all your system and speakers are wired, but if you follow any online tutorial you should be good to go and if you have any specific question i'll answer.
AVOlio Im sure that all the plugs are wired Properly ! they are still the same as before. And all the speakers actually are working! But not as real 5.1 ! But as normal Stereo. But When going on Control panel>Sound, and after configuring as 5.1 sound, i do a test, only the front speakers are working.
