Hello guys, I live in Doha Aramoun related to central khalde. I've got Sodetel ADSL 8 Mbit speed after the upgrades. Getting 1 Mbit since 2 years and a half. Ping is like shit! browsing isn't so good, and i need more than 1 Mbit coz i work on internet alot! Do you advice me to Change to Wise? or it's not better? i want better pings and faster speed! i dont want more than 2 mbit! But not 1 as sodetel is giving me! Reply please, Thank you :).

WISE called me a month ago saying my line supported up to 6mbit after doing the feasibility test and they told me to choose a new plan (although I was already in the 2M45). So I chose the 4M30 and today at midnight I noticed the blazing fast speed!!

It should have been 4mbit but I'm glad I passed the 0.85mbit

However, the torrent issue is back, but it's a minor issue now..
In what Area or Central are you at Truepeace and should we start asking for the upgrade if we didnt' get upgraded yet ?

Well now they got me downgraded to 2mbit (1.7 on speedtest) because they were just testing if the 4mbit works well on my line and it will be activated on the 1st of May.
Tested on the London server and the ping is 108ms. (why? fifa? :p )

Just tell them to check if they sent a request for Ogero for your plan change/speed upgrade.
My friend at IDM in Kfarchima also noticed a speed upgrade from 2 to 4 mbit only for half a day so maybe the're also testing his line.

*crying* I was so surprised because i have tons of games to update so lets say 30 GB per month and i have a quota of 45 GB so im gonna run out of capacity in a week max!!!!

i have a 4mb 60gb conx and wise i was pretty happy with it until wise canceled the free night download. so i am thinking of downgrading to the 2mb unlimited but it is more expensive it costs 55$ per month and i am afraid of it being slow i download movies and series and sometimes play online on my xbox. any opinion on the 2mb any has it ?

Last time i used WISE via the black box was couple of months ago and ping was terrible. Switched to WINS from Sodetel, ping is better but regardless it's not suitable for online gaming, even when you get a ping of 80ms you still lag.

Has anyone been experiencing issues with WISE lately? The service has been horrid this past week, ping ranging around 1000-2000 MS around 3-4 PM+, even my modem has been restarting by itself, called support over 4 times, mixed answers, proceeded through removing all phones, replacing all filters, etc etc etc to no avail. Speed is great but ping is stupidly high on every single game and the senseless restarting of the router is just way too annoying.

No problem here and ping below 100 ms stable, it has been like this for months.
Modem restarting by itself, looks like a modem problem and not ISP.

There is absolutely no FUP on any of Ogero's plans, I downloaded 55GBs these 3 days and there was no decrease of speed or increase of ping, that's been the case since I subscribed to Ogero's 2mbit/s unlimited plan back in August 2014.

Thanks ! Highly considering switching to ogero. But the long wait would be frustrating.
