So I researched a little,

I'm thinking about Corsair AX860i platinum, I'll order from Amazon. I hope it doesn't come with coil whine issues. Or I'll go with Cooler Master V850

The Ax860i have a high DOA rate which means QC issues, although I like that it's platinum certified that will help with less power usage for a 24/7 turned-on PC. Especially on the electricity bill & APS.

Cooler Master V850 Fully Modular Gold certified
VS
Corsair Ax860i platinum certified?

Couldn't find the ones recommended earlier on Amazon.

EDIT: I took the risk, just placed an order for Ax860i & ASUS ATX MAXIMUS VII FORMULA DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard

http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Motherboard-MAXIMUS-VII-FORMULA/dp/B00M5DUVT0/

This M/B is for $306.99. My reasoning being "premium components".
For the PSU, I guess I'll do a test before running it live so I don't risk other components if it had issues.
My freshly finished RIG specs :

CPU: Intel core i7 4790k
GPU: 2xGigabyte G1 Gaming Gtx 970 sli
Ram: Corsair Vengeance Pro series 16 gb (8x2) @ 2400 MHZ
Mobo:ASUS ROG Maximus VII Formula
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 evo
Case : CM Storm Stryker
PSU: EVGA Supernova 1000W G2
SSD: Crucial M500 480gb
Mouse/Pad:Razer deathadder / Razer goliathus
Headset: Razer Kraken 7.1
Monitor: LG 24MP56HQ
Still need a decent keyboard ( probably the corsair k70) and a UPS.

Lenovo Y50 with the i7 4710HQ, 4gb Gtx860m, and 8gb ram.

I had a PC with an i5 3570, 8gb ram, and Gtx650ti OC boost but I sold it because I needed a PC I can take anywhere (The Lenovo)

GTX 970 SLI is overkill for 1080p. You could have saved some bucks, like getting a Maximus VII Hero instead of the Formula, getting a Samsung 850 Evo instead of the M500 and getting a smaller PSU.
@Bahij.M nice rig, where did you find the case?
Sup3r wrote@Bahij.M nice rig, where did you find the case?
Thx mate i bought it from Microcity Jnah they also have the black edition ( Storm Trooper ) but it doesn't have a side window so i went with this .

My plan was to get a 1440 monitor but after i knew the vram issue i hesitated so i went with 1080 , as for the formula i liked the armor of it,the ssd i bought it from pc and parts they didn't have anything else (I don't want kingston ).
@Bahij.M

Decent Desktop Specifications:

- How much it cost you in Total?
-Do you attend for Overclocking?
-What Are Playing These Days - 1440p Monitor later is a good decision; Meanwhile Stick with DSR and link to to a 42 inch Led TV and experience the fidelity of games.
-You need some led strips modding they will make your inner case nicer ; since it seems dark
-Crucial M 500 is a very decent SSD , been using it for a year or more - Bring another one and put them in Raid 0
@Bahij.M I heared that the formula M/B tries to overclock automatically, I ordered the same item, I don't want it to overclock anything. just keep them original. Did you played with the settings?

Do you think pcandparts "Rendering Station" is a good deal? Or would it be better to switch some parts for some others?
I'm still wondering if this is a good offer ^.

Is it overkill?
Here are its specs:

Lenovo KM4800 Wired Desktop USB Key+Mouse Water Resistant

Total: $2755 TTC

I buy a desktop PC once every 6 years, do you think this will still be upgrade-able for more than that? I was thinking of shipping the specs yet it turned out to be more expensive due to customs.
@Johnaudi depends on what you want it for.
If Gaming,yes its overkill.
If indeed its meant for gaming, a more reasonable option would be ditching the Cpu,Board and Ram.
And replacing them with a 4770K/non K , a decent SLI board, and 16GB DDR3 Ram.
With the money saved from the replacements made, Invest them in a 1440p monitor (in this case you will remove the LG monitor from the list also) and you are good to go.

And for future upgrade, a second GTX 980 will set you very well.
(Also you should consider getting another PSU, more than 650W, as a little more is always better).

And i guess if its intended to more than just gaming, Just go for it.

Cost me about 2700$ and yes i am willing to OC in the near future , i am currently playing the evil within ,shadow of mordor and wolfenstein, waiting the witcher 3 ,as for the led strips yes it truly is dark so i am gonna add some strips but any idea where can i get them ? the ssd is very good and fast thanks for the info mate .

Yes it can oc by itself it tells you the percentage of performance increase also before doing it (using ASUS AI Suite 3) the mobo is great and very stable, its a very good choice .
@Johnaudi please dont get that entry level ssd. Get a samsung ssd instead. And for the love of God, get some decent peripherals. I wish you could get a steelseries sensei pro (best mouse ive ever had, beats the crap out of any razer mouse), and a razer blackwidow chroma or corsair k70 to complement the Rig specs

I second this, but you should get a Logitech or Zowie mouse.

For gaming and general PC usage, the Haswell-E is an overkill. forget the cores, go for speed the 4790k is way better option for must use cases and faster than the haswell-E in other instances. This also goes for DDR4 and X99 board.

For 1080p gaming 980 is an overkill, 970 is a better option.
Oh sorry I didn't include the reason of using that PC.
I will mostlikely use it for Gaming, VR (using the Oculus, hopefully more than 60FPS on any game), programming and sometimes bruteforcing. Still overkill? Shall I go with the second offer?
You will benefit from the extra cores after the release of Vulkan (it can make use of up to 16 cores) and DirectX 12. The 5820K is a 6-core 12-thread processor that can be had for less than 450$, it's definitely worth the extra over the 4790K. Extra cores will also help you if you render.

Hopefully this would be my last shipment from Amazon to build my rig, monitor and case left. Will get them from pcandparts

@Sup3r .. the 4790k costs less in Lebanon than shipping it from abroad and includes a warranty
