Everything's working fine without me calling them. If this holds till saturday i'd be sure they fixed it
[IDM]Problems connecting to Sony Entertainment Network version 2.0

Everything working fine here too. The only problem is with the random sudden disconnections due to my almost dead modem, which i abused by flashing it with every firmware i can find and then downgrading it once i found a major bug with the firmware. So speedtouch modems are bad.
Note: It worked fine today.

Problem solved! They assigned a real IP which starts with 46. The only problem now is the NAT3 issue, even after DMZing, the ps3 shows NAT3. Hope it is not an issue with the retarded modem, Speedtouch ST546v6.
The NAT 3 is from their end, not from your modem, i started to get NAT 3 about two days ago, they also assigned a real IP starting with 46, they fixed a problem and made another one. Now with NAT 3 i can't connect to some friends again. When they first assigned the real IP, i could get NAT 1 on a bridged connection or if i put the PS3 on DMZ. Seriously they just can't get it right!

@elchebib After everything was solved and i ma still under NAT type 3. I took the decision to use my modem as a bridge for the ADSL connection. So i did the necessary configurations even solved my random disconnections to PSN, as i expected, due to a software problem in the modem.
After connection my PS3 as usual to the router (WRT120N) it worked like a charm but the NAT Type 3 problem came up, and i even tried disabling NAT completely using my router still nothing. Though i did DMZ the PS3 and assigned it a separate IP address not in the DHCP range. Still i get NAT Type 3, and the usual UPnP available.

Yes. My NAT reverted back to type 3 but my playstation network access is still working. I don't know what happened but I haven't tried playing online to see the effects of it. I will update my post once I have tried.
With my Ogero connection, my PS3 does tend to fall into NAT Type 3 however in-game (for example modern warefare) it still shows as open.
So i guess it's irrelevant (however any game that would use Sony's servers such as an exclusive may have a problem)
But it terms of third party matchmaking it will be open for the most part.
Hope that helps and i'm glad you guys solved your initial problem !

Solved my NAT problem!
Simply as you know my modem is in bridge mode, so the real work is with the router now. So i used the Single Port Forwarding option on my WRT120N router, to forward the required ports. Previously i used Port Range Forwarding option, kept them though. Still under a local IP outside the DHCP pool.
Turned on my PS3 to update it, but first i check my Network status to find out that the UPnP is Not Available yet the Nat Type is 2.
Perfect!

congrats and at last
OK! Thanks! Tried RDR multiplayer today, because even at NAT Type 2 previously, i rarely get into a free-roam game with any players. Today i was able to enter a game with 4 players then it was filled up, and enjoyed playing it.
I have tried putting my modem on bridge mode and using a wired connection but like most of you i am still having NAT type 3 even though i used to get NAT type 2...anyone figured a solution yet? thanks in advance
