Pretty neat in my opinion, but you could benefit from a simple, yet subtle background. The "all white" is a bit overwhelming.

good job guys , the site looks like and organised (in away), moreover i second cullinan ,it would be better if you can add something to the white background.

EDIT : Don't create topics to rant and complain. Use Facebook instead. nice touch :P

Neat. I like how it looks but I'm not sure what to think of the change in colors. I've come to associate the old colors to lebgeeks. This one looks like a different identity.
What unsettles me the most, is that the main screen where I could see the latest active threads accross all forums is now gone. That was convenient. I can see no equivalent...
PS: Is it me, or is it very fast?
PS2: Where is the cartoon geek gone? :D

Edit: The "Topics: (...) New" link on the top right will do for the digest functionality.

I have to be honest, I prefer the older design, this design is making (as another user pointed it out) look cheap, the former design was more colorful and I really liked the homepage where we could see the latest posts..

I wouldn't say cheap, I would say it kinda looks "medical". Sorry, Just trying to express something. I'm glad it's fast, easier on the eyes and the brain, but I think it could use a touch of the old design.

Samer, if you designed (and/or coded) this, then I have to say: great work.

I can't use the Bold, Italic, underline and other commands.

Also, the site could use a background. The white looks too "empty" Some people would like the signatures feature back, and I know everyone want the similes to be on :D

The rules were more brief too, some people might be too stupid to understand the new rules.. for example "No arabic in latin characters. Use arabic script" Some people might not understand that. Remember...this is Lebanon *wink wink*

I find it more geeky, plus colors are easier on the eyes.
I am not sure if someone agree with me, I personally prefer if the font is console.

But please get back the main page, it.is.the most awesome feature of this site.

Why I don't like the new dates.
The forum still supports BBCode, but it has to be written manually now. There's a link beneath the input form that shows all the supported tags.
Markdown is actively considered, but difficult to implement given current conditions.
Smilies and signatures have been taken away because abuses made the pages cluttered and bulky

I cannot say much about other suggestions, maybe samer will address them later. For now, I can just tell you that posts describing the features you miss the most (or are most happy about now) are more helpful than the ('it was better before' or 'it's so much better now'). You should expect LG changing your habits from time to time (we do this oh so rarely, last overhaul was over 4 years ago).

Most interesting things would be bug hunting. Here are two that I found, it would be very helpful if anyone can reproduce them:

I cannot login unless I check the "Sign me in automatically..." box.
My inbox is marked as full despite me deleting over 50 emails by now. This was not the case this morning.

My client: Google Chrome 18 running on Debian Linux 6 - 64 bits

If anyone can reproduce any of these bugs, or any new unnoticed ones, it'd be great to mention it and describe your clients briefly (OS + browser version).

The old design was simple and stylish however this one is extremely simple, its like you took the old one and stripped it of everything, even the logo is gone, in my opinion the previous design was way better.
You guys also removed the post count a year ago, now the join date is gone too, when you seek for answers for example, seeing that someone has like 5000+ post or joined the forum like 5 years ago makes it more credible (sometimes) than getting an answer from a noob, now you cant tell new comers from old members (Unless you click on the profile).

I have to agree with Aly, I don't really like the new forum, the old one looked better.I guess that change may not always be welcomed nevertheless, it is beneficial.

Forums are all about fun and discussing technological stuff. But Lebgeeks lacks features. It is now the most simplest forum on the web!

It's just text now.

There's nothing fun left in it...

Some people don't know how to use codes and aren't used to them. The shortcut buttons we're a lot more user friendly.

The forum feels like it's stripped to the bone...

I really like the feature that makes us have the ability to edit our topic title though :)

I just noticed, that the time zone doesn't include Beirut. How ironic :P

It's more mobile friendly aswell..

I judge changes to the GUI on first site, and i was like...wow! awesome. Nice change in my opinion. In the the forums does have a purpose and it is not for commercial use like your average forums on gaming websites or others.
