Cruel.C0re wrotedoes anyone know when the game will be released in Lebanon ? since i don't have Steam .
It was released since 21st of August. (PS3, Steam, PC ..)

@Devil'sAdvocate: Call of Duty is fake. Copied everything from the very first Counter-Strike game. I don't know about BattleField3 ..

@ballad: If you have steam, buy it on steam. If not just buy it on PS3 or if you are comfortable with PC, go for it.
COD is just a joke; very easy to get kills. CS is the real deal; the weapons fire really differently from each other

The gameplay of the whole Counter-Strike Series including this one of course is way better on PC. The Eye-Hand-Mouse coordination is what it takes to get the most of the kills in CS. Fast reflex and controlling weapon recoil for accuracy is what this game is about and what is needed to win. And we all know the gameplay of FPS games on the consoles has it's own way. Very few, nearly no one can aim for a headshot and kill when an opponent just faces you round a corner using a gamepad. The COD, BF3 and other FPS games can work on consoles but I can't see CS working out. Final thoughts is, I'd recommend the PC but as Naja said, it depends on what you're comfortable with.

Half-life and CStrike were among the first fps games I have ever played. CS:GO made me go back to the roots of fps gaming. As you said Hussein, the "controlling weapon recoil" is what makes CS a special game. I hardly ever noticed any recoil factor on COD. Th only thing I miss in COD is the weapon customization. I wish valve can bring that to the CS series. CS + Weapon customization = epic fps game, don't you agree?

Totally.

More than that, CS is the only game that you can keep on getting skilled until your full potential or vice versa, being a pro in it then stopping for a year or two makes you forget all about it and that, im my opinion ..

Also it's one of the most developed games, who remembers CS 1.1 then 1.2-->1.6 and of course CS:S and it's parts and now CS:GO
COD rocks, nothing beats it . The best CS was the first one the old half-life that one was so much fun. I didn't like the Global offensive .
Well everyone has his opinion but we all know CoD is fake no matter what. How can you like CoD but not like GO, it's almost the same.
Don't forget that CS:GO has mouse + keyboard support on ps3 in addition to PS Move support as well

What i meant was CoD is fake, stole the idea from the very first CS, and you can't argue with it. That's your opinion, but 1 opinion can't change a fact. Re-skinned ? Yes. But they are similar in many ways.
