Best thing is to try stores for refurbished laptops. You can't find a new one with such speakers for that much money.

I don't think you'll find such a price on this laptop, especially in Lebanon. However if you don't mind buying any refurbished laptops, you might find some pretty sweet deals.
Brands don't matter anymore. They are all too cheap now. No matter what brand you buy, it doesn't matter (Unless it's a Lenovo ThinkPad, those just ROCK!)

I wouldn't mind refurbished laptops..Do you think I can find a laptop with a great price like the one I mentioned if it's refurbished?
AvoK95
You could find one very easily.

Any particular shops/websites you would recommend? Local stores here are thieves..

Please don't look at the manufacturer's website when you're looking for price. Companies in Lebanon buy their $300 laptops and sell them for 500 550 dollars.
And no one can tell you anything about them being good or not if you don't specify what are you going to use it for..

Store near my house always adds 50-100$ from the manufracturer's website..I'm going to use it for entertainment purposes (movies, music) and everyday computing (internet surfing, etc..)..Which one is the best for me?

Get the first one. Its an i5 sandy bridge which is great for what you are looking to do.
Also you are getting more storage at 640GB hdd versus 500GB the other one so thats a big plus.
If you care about battery lasting 2-3 hours then you need to search around on google and check out individual reviews. Basically go to a store, get the numbers for different models and then check out reviews about them on the web to get the best idea about each laptop.

Processors have come to a point where no matter what you get, the speed will be enough for regular everyday computing. I would got with the i5 since it's configuration is pretty great for your needs. I would max out the RAM on that thing for about $50 extra for future proofing, and possibly add a small SSD if it has an extra HDD slot. (Of course if the seller doesn't make you void the warranty.)
As reppinhighz suggested, check the reviews on each laptop. But for that price, you can get a far better configuration from PCandParts.com

Mind linking me to some good deals on PCAndParts, for some odd reason, it's taking forever to load the pages on their website..I've never dealt with them personally but I heard from you guys that they're pretty great and thanks @repping for your reply :)

I didn't put 640GB laptops because 640GB = ~590GB and 500=~459 and there's a huge price difference between those two. I wouldn't recommend getting a high capacity drive on laptops because, they're very easy to get damaged and your data will be at far more risk of getting lost. I recommend you get a huge external drive with a small drive on the laptop. Or even an SSD. You can buy an SSD and replace the drive with it and use the HDD as an external. The SSD will make your PC FLY! and plus you'll have an external HDD out of it (Via HDD enclosure)

Hello guys, I'm posting here because its not worth making a new post. I was searching in pcandparts for good gaming laptops with a budget of 900$ maximum, and I found two:
The HP G6-2209/29/30 Intel Core i7-3632 6GB Ram 750GB HDD DVDRW 15.6" LED LAN, WIFI HD 7670M 2GB $888.00*
and the HP 15-B006 Black Intel Core i5-3317M 6GB Ram 1TB HDD External DVDRW 15.6" LED LAN, WIFI GT630M 2GB $789.00*
I was just wondering, is it worth paying 100$ extra for the i7? And witch is better, the 7670M or the gt630M? I am going to use it mainly for gaming.
reppinhighz
7670M outperforms the 630M by probably 3-5% but in my opinion it is not worth the 100$ difference. Same for the i7 really.
yasamoka
mohammadk97, I'd advise you to spend an extra $100-200 and go for the Toshiba A850 for the same specs, for its reliability, build quality, and all-aluminum chassis (helps with heat somewhat), if you do not find other laptops with better specs at the same price point.
Plus, gaming + laptop + $900 budget do not mix. You do realize you could get a desktop which has 10 times the graphics performance for the same price, don't you? Check out the desktop Radeon HD7850 vs. the Radeon 7670M / GeForce GT630M included in the laptops you mentioned.
mohammadk97
Thanks @reppinhighz and @yasamako for your replys. I would really like a laptop for its mobility, and it doesn't have to play all the games on high settings, I would just like to replace my old crappy one, with a better ( and from this generation :p ) one. Anywho, I am not planning on buying one right now, I was just asking is it worth the i7 if its meant to gaming.
