Greetings guys,
I wanted to download the chrome os from getchrome.eu, it turned out that they don't have their owm hosting but they uploaded the images to some Crapy filehosts from which i can't download files. So i decided to download a torrent version, I had no luck not a peer even, but i am sure it has a lot of peers but somehow it is blocked.
Same thing happened when i wanted to download the offline wikipedia, same thing but here there's two HTTP peers i.e. (wikipedia servers). But the download speed was still low.
So any idea to bypass such limitations, it is very annoying though. I don't think a vpn will do the job.

Thanks indeed.
i think your problem is with the number of seeders being so low,i searched for wikipedia offline on the pirate bay and the best torrent i could found have 20 seeders, then i searched for chrome os and the best i could found have 13 seeders (pirate bay also),and with this number of seeders you're not gonna be able to download (the speed would be so low, that if the download started at all).or can you link me to the torrents so i can try myself ?

P.S if you're using bittorrent or something similar,in the info panel you might see 0 peers connected that's not a problem since those peers will connect when you start uploading, you have to check number of seed connected when you download.
I don't think a vpn will do the job.
Why not? a VPN can even be used to defeat deep packet inspection.

An alternative would be to rent a seedbox. You would then use rtorrent to download your file and then get it to your local machine via HTTP. A VPS can cost as low as 4$/month these days.
4 days later
i own a vps somewhere in uk and i am running a proxy server on it
practicly its what i have been using to download tons of torrent. i can hook you up if you want

i can either fill you up with the proxy details and give you your own user\pass (for free ofcourse ;) )
or i can download it for you and give you a direct link

i got unlimited 100mbps on it so no problems

let me know what you decide
I have the same problem with my VISP connection, I have a steady connection of 3 Mbps but torrents run at 20 Kbps no matter how many seeds.
I would just like to know a few more details about VPN or VPS...What sites are used? How much we pay? Does it actually work?

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. its like having a network, but over the internet... not sure if i am making sense there :P

VPN stands for Virtual Private Server, which is technically owning a virtual computer somewhere in the world that is 24/7 online and that you would access over the internet

Do you know how to input proxy settings on your torrent client i.e utorrent ?

and yes, ofcourse it works, since you are rerouting your whole traffic through a 'neutral' address in their book.

Do you want to give it a try ? inbox me, i'll send you your details

Pleasure mate :)
Thanks Ngel for helping me too.
But guys i feel like it is my router's problem? Any idea how to verify it?
Or could it be the shared-ip problem, i,e someone is using the same port as i am?
But i changed ports like 100 times...
