  • The Gamers Comparison: PS3 / XBOX360 / Alienware(PC)

For true gaming, believe me, u cannot console vs pc...just get both either a ps3 & pc or xbox & pc. That's True gaming. I can never game on my pc alone or console alone, just doesn't feel right. I mostly game on ps3 due to it having more awesome exclusives and fun games, and the pc also cannot be beaten for playing an mmo or rts.

So it depends, first you have to decide what type of gamer are you and which type of games do you like most, then go from there...and remember, if you start thinking that one is dominant and others are crap then you'll just be stupidly-close-minded and gonna miss out on great games and features that millions of others are enjoying.

shant wrotepc is better in than consoles in every single way, except price, im sure all of you know you can connect a joystick to a pc and think of it as an xbox/ps3?
ps, this post is useless and is gonna get locked :P
And where's Pacman when we need him? Actually, thank you for your info. We were just sharing thoughts and infos that's all.
i wasn't claiming facts, just sharing my idea
Another great idea for gaming is that if you can help not be a 'self-proclaimed' Elitest, then instead of building a super computer for about 2000$, how about building a moderate 1000$ pc, and get a console with it for another 400$. That way you enjoy all...

It depends on what games a person is in to. According to me, I'm a psycho wiz in DotA/PvP online battling so I would care less about PS3 and XBOX360 consoles sometimes, but both ways it's a nice idea you got there and a good way to save more money.

Rubz wroteI enjoy PC gaming with all its aspects, sitting at a powerful rig with that 24" in my face and surround sound with my hands on the keyboard and mouse gives me a great sense of control and immersion.

I also like to be able to tinker with the hardware and I enjoy superiour graphics.

PC is Boss.
how about a 55inch 3D tv hooked to your console with some real surround
not a 50$ logitech surround
isn't it a boss too?
Not as 'in yo face as i would like' :p

and i do not use cheap logitech surround either.
plus gamepads suck

so no, not boss :D to me that is.

the funny thing is that I have a 24' Apple display with a good enough desktop and surround behind it
and a 55' 3D tv with a ps3 and xbox and a huge surround behind them too and I prefer using the consoles anyday over the pc.
For diablo 3 I will have to use the desktop
