I do apologize for the where this was lead to,

My point were not to defend one brand over the other. just to point out that it is wrong and misleading to label a leading brand as "contaminating" when each brand has its ups and down in their lines of product, I myself switch brands on every build, thats all.

And to keep the thread on top to help with Khaled with the sale :D

I guess i am to blame for all this since i am the one who mentioned this clash in the first place. Apologies for that it was not my intention to lead things to this.

In any way, each has his own experiences and i personally found THIS powersupply pretty good even thought i hate thermaltake but this PSU is pretty good. Bottom line : it depends on the specific product.

I hope you would close the debate for this thread is not destined for it.

Price is still 80$ for the interested and thanks all for your shares.
@Beej, Frankly, bro I was not convincing anybody in fact khaled & I used to share a funny quote about Tt PSU’s from a long time ago. Although I was, straighten things up but sadly things went off and Rubz could not get the point thus, at some point he might felt deliberately attacked with the “Contaminating Word”.

@Khaled, Do not blame yourself mate ;), in fact to sheer you up I will do my best to sell this PSU.

@Rubz, Man cheer up a while ;), one day you will find my words useful but till than quite some time will pass.
I just wanted to add something:

Rubz, it's not only about the power supply. The new Thermaltake ToughPower XT's may be better than their previous generation, but it's mostly about the way they treat those power supplies in Lebanon, according to what tarekelkhaledi has told me. They store them in conditions that are detrimental to their performance. Meaning high heat, for example. The way they deal with them in here, is what's frightening. Anyways, you should already know, by the way their treat Hard Drives around here. They arrive anything but hard...

I would say that if storage conditions worsened Thermaltake ToughPower supplies, which are brought by the masses here in Lebanon (I really don't know much why, with other options available. Maybe they're cheaper to import? Anyways we also have XFX here, a good brand), they would also have an effect on other brands shipped to here. But until then, the only retailers selling other quality PSUs such as Corsair and Antec are few and far between, and they will most probably know about what technology they're getting better than other common retailers.
