  • [For sale] Thermal-take tough-power

Greetings fellow geeks.

Anyone interested in a used thermaltake toughpower 600W ?

Product details and description is available here : "http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product.aspx?s=1207&id=1499#Tab1 "

I guess tarekalkhaledi wont like the fact im spreading thermaltake products and contaminating more people with them :P Am i right tarek ? :P

In any case this is a solid PSU and worth its price.

I'm demanding 100$.
Well its not him you should be concerned now would you :P.

In anycase, its a good psu, thats all i have to say, but @ 100$?! Cmon the newer/better 600w from TT costs like 20$s more.

Good luck with DEMANDING the price :), and glws.
Why contaminating? the new Toughpower XT is great!

@Beej - i suspect DEMANDING sprouts from french education :) has a softer sense on that side of the universe
Well then pardon me :). Still its a bit on the high side pricewise.
@Khaled, Actually I have to agree with you Khaled “Tt PSU’s” does contaminate their user’s.

No worries worry mate. Wish you the best of luck selling this “Piece of Ancient History Hardware” :P.
No it doesnt contaminate, fanboism does :)
Lol i didnt expect my post would produce all that.

Well yes i was hesitating when i put it on sale, when i put the price i knew it was going to be rejected at 100$ its too much, but i wont lower it much as well, it is a slid PSU it still delivers good performance so ill stick to 80$ for it.

Yes sorry about that beej i didnt mean it in a domination accent ( i just noticed that when re reading the comments ) . . . and yes i am french educated so using the proper word isn't always the easiest of things.

Anyway the PSU is still up for sale, and i think 80$ is a fair deal ? what do you think ?

Anyone interested just post here or PM me or whatever you like im open for suggestions for the price.
80 is good if you ask me, and this psu will come in handy to oeple who want to upgrade their gpu, but dont want to spend too much on psu.

And about "demanding" its aight ;)
@Rubz, Facts based on “Long Experience” must tolled no matter how bitter the truth is ;).

Fanboism is not the case here, when frankly all your acquisition based on “Your Personal Satisfaction” which is a Fanboism side.

No offense mate, but each Hardware got the Pros & Cons then again “Tt” is no longer “Tt” of the early 2000 Era were the Name “Tt” was labeled under High Quality Product’s?. Many companies stepped in aiming for “Top Spots” which is a healthy rotation for the Market.

Note: Top Spots not guaranteed to remain for any Company, thus constant R&D / Innovations might delays that a bit further.

@Khaled, 70 / 80$ is a fair deal trust me :).
ok thanks a lot for your replies, its settled then, 80$ it is.

as said before, anyone interested just post here or PM me on lebgeeks or email me.
One of the reasons why i bought my TT PSU was just for the warranty

7 years, anything happens, ill but it back in its box, and send it off to the "wakeel"

Don't know why all the hate.
@The-MMMs, There are no hate mate just simple facts :).

Note: 1 Year warranty applied on all “Hardware Brands” not particularly Tt’s case.

Art. . . just art and nough' said

@The-MMS, Are you really telling me that? Mate do you think that our market “Retailers or Dealers” really offers such a long Warranty on one of the most important “Hardware Item”? I highly doubt this ;).
@Khaled, Lool those are pieces of ancient history: P

Whatever man... Go read reviews, not just my "personal satisfaction"

thermaltake provided a solid line of PSUs lately, and I personaly would rely on "my personal experience" since 386/486 IBMs and also trusted review sites. What you use to evaluate hardware is your own bussiness, but as it appears from your post, it sprouts off personal opinion and some marketing jibber.
@Rubz, It would be much better if you “Read More Reviews” to find my words based on what ;), but hey, this is a common problem in our “Market” people are brain washed thus, when someone with a “Long Experience” jump in for help to straighten things for them they act like this. FYI, the most popular PSU’s Brands are “Antec & Corsair” in fact these two popular Brands could be find on an Average of 4/5 PC’s worldwide.

Note: If you are so interested about “PSU” Reviews then check the one and only Trusted Reviewer JonnyGuru than tell me who is best ;).

Edit: FYI, I do not need Marketing I already have the “Reputation”

Will you kids both stop it already.

There is a slight difference between good and better in the world of psu. Warrenty doesnt mean much since most retailers here offer few months warrenty on psu. Hell i had a psu with a warrenty of 2 weeks!!!! I know tarek your trying to put better hardware on our market, i feel you. But thats not the way of convincing.

@ rubz: Indeed the best spu reviewr is jhonny guru and you will find that he gives better rating to antec, corsair, silverstone, xfx, seasonic, and superflower more than what TT gets.

Our market has alot of OLD TT products, but if you know what part your getting, you dont have to fear about anything. Psu are underrated and overrated at the same time, if i have a good psu without 80+ efficiency, that doesnt mean my psu is weak. It means that a similar psu with higher efficiency will save on my powerbil. Surely there are marvels of the psu in the world.

Mainly TT1200w psu was the BEST when it came out, silverstone strder 1500w was the highest outputting psu with high efficiency and great performance/build. Antec 1200 tpq was a psu that was able to give out a peak of 1700w in power! Almost is able to overload you house curcuitry.
Seasonic is an amazing psu builder, corsair and xfx are based on them so they are the same. Superflower on the other hand are THE absolute BEST in everything, but they are overpriced and not available. And cmon, i dont want to power my BEAST pc with a flower :P.

Bottom line is, we have good and we have better. We have resonable price and we have overpriced. Nothing is "BAD" anymore, pros and cons.

So please this is a sale thread, dont turn it into something else.
