That won't be necessary, you just ship it to them, or take it to the nearest Apple Care in your Region. Would you prefer the store to give you a warranty by themselves ? Fine. There is a company [Not giving names] that brings in refurbished laptops and other products and they give you 1 year warranty, from their store. So, a customer got their laptop with a faulty speaker, and the seller sends it to "Warranty" And they scratch the heck out of the back panel. So much that, the "Toshiba" logo was no longer noticeable. Now you'd think that "Oh well, that's just one shop" Well what about 2 others ? 2 other shops that have the same problem ? Not to mention the laptop was put together with tons of missing screws and the ones that were on it weren't tightened at all !
So, what do you prefer ? The manufacture's warranty, which you pay a few bucks to have it shipped ? or the store's warranty which will fix your laptop which has "One leg" and sends it without any "legs" at all ?
