  • Anime you like the most

Okay, so i downloaded and watched Another. Boy i really enjoyed it, superb quality / art. I checked the manga, there are currently twenty chapters, status: ongoing. Should i read it or is it exactly like the anime?

@Monkey D. Luffy, there are a couple of questions i want to ask you about the anime, i will PM to avoid spoilers.
So I finished K-ON well here is my impression... If you like shojo then watch it... otherwise it's pretty normal, childish, girly and a good waste of time :)

@jadz I'll open one for both Naruto and One piece (I dun watch Bleach so I'm not opening one)
Wow guys! you are crazy :P

I like detective conan. I watched episode when I was 11 years old on Space toon and sometimes I download the new episodes from torrent sites.

But you guys are so crazy! How do you find free time to follow a big list like that :P ?
trust me it is very easy :P (one episode/day)
All these anime are not this big :)

3 months later
Honey and Clover(One of the most emotion and heart-felt anime ever)

@MasterBatata The first episode does not define the show at all, in fact it's terrible but after the first 6 episodes the show turns into a true masterpiece.

i am willing to trade anything for naruto the first season episodes. I have a list of over 100 anime series mostly 720p. A student of my brother girlfriend wants the episodes and i lost the cds :P.
Wow Luffy, I thought I was the only one who loves kindaichi? It is indeed epic. I'm guessing you stopped at 50 episodes, so here's a link to a french fansub who subbed till Ep 59 (they need a jab traducteur tho) http://www.kfrfansub.netne.net/
I grew up watching Anime at Mangas (french channel) so most of my anime are from this channel:
- Nicky Larson (aka City Hunter)
- Ranma 1/2
- Saint Seiya
- Yu Yu Hakusho
- Death Note
- Hunter X Hunter
- Ken Le Survivant (Hokuto No Ken)
- Dragon Ball, Z, GT
- Saiyuki
- Olive Et Tom (Captain Tsubasa)
- College Fou Fou
- Bleach (just started, love it)
- Vision D'Escaflowne and Blue Seed (I liked them, not loved them like the others)
And my all time favourite: Les Enquêtes De Kindaichi, shame I'm stuck at Ep 59 (No subs, dubs)
Oho! I see lots of real fans over here =D

Αντνάν, MasterBatata, MohammadRida and KarimCfc, you seem to know a lot about it. =)

I'm a 2D animator and illustrator, specialized in mangas.

I already watched all these animes, and I have most of them in very good quality (I try to find the best quality possible on the internet, but since they closed Megaupload, it's a lot harder to find them (with French subtitles especially), and to find very rare series...now I do with private torrents, which is fine too!). But yeah, series like Kindaichi are not available at all! That's a shame but that's reality, I searched for it EVERYWHERE, I even asked many famous sellers if they had the original series, nothing...

My all-time-favorites so far are:

-Fullmetal Alchemist
-Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
-Eureka Seven (Soon I'll watch season 2)
-Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai
-Bonen no Xamdou (Xam'd - Lost Memories)
-Chobits
-City Hunter
-Clannad
-Clannad After Story
-Code Geass
-Cowboy Bebop
-Death Note
-Denno Coil
-FLCL
-Fushigi no Umi no Nadia (Nadia et le Secret de l'Eau Bleue)
-GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka)
-Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey & Clover) 1 & 2
-Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East)
-High School! Kimengumi (Collège Fou Fou)
-Ichigo Mashimaro (Strawberry Marshmallow)
-Kanon
-Kare Kano (Very experimental but also very well animated)
-Lucky Star
-Koi Kaze (Love Wind)
-Maison Ikkoku (My favorite from Rumiko Takahashi)
-Ranma 1/2
-Meitantei Conan (Detective Conan) (It never ends...since 1999, still watchin' :p)
-Monster
-One Piece
-Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
-PlanetES
-Samurai Champloo
-Cowboy Bebop
-School Rumble
-Shin Seiki Evangelion (Neon Genesis Evangelion) (A masterpiece!)
-Slam Dunk
-Suzumiya Haruhi no Yûutsu (La Mélancolie de Haruhi Suzumiya)
-Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (So much manhood in dat one :p)
-Gunbuster
-Redline (I worked with James Shimoji and Rob Laufer on that one, I did one of the official remixes of the main OST "Red Line Day")
etc...
Is it this show you are searching for Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo if yes i found for it a couple of links but they are english if you want them
Seems like "Code Geass" doesn't get much love. To those who haven't seen it, please do and make up for what you've been missing.

A small hobby of mine is to edit anime series and alter them to my taste. For instance, I get the first 100 episodes of Naruto: First I completely delete the confirmed filler episodes that have nothing to do with the arc. After that I work with every episode individually, I remove all the cheesy and lengthy scenes. I make the fight sequences much more dynamic and remove the unnecessary flashbacks. Of course, I do my best not to damage the storyline and emotions.

Now let's get to business. I'm soon travelling to the primitive African jungles (Don't ask...). And for that, there will be a lot of free time. The only way to pass the off-work time is to watch some animes. This is why I would like to ask. Does someone know a "Guy" who can download all the needed series to my HDD, no matter what the format? I ask this because my ISP completely blocks all torrent traffic, so I can't download from the net.

That's a lot of work!

I have all the series I mentioned in my list, plus some of the other series listed in all the replies. But everything is subtitled in French (some of them have English subtitle (MKV format), some even have French dub).

In primitive African jungles, where exactly? (I lived in Burkina Faso for a while).
