When I got upgraded to 2mbit/s last year, my line's SN Margin (on the download side) used to range between 9.5 to 15dBs, and I don't know how but now since very recently I see my SN Margin is 19.5 to 22.5dBs, but my line attenuation hasn't changed at all. Do you think this is improvement from Ogero's side or there might have been something in the building that was causing it to stay low, because I haven't changed any wires since last year
Feedback for Ogero
Same problem but much faster this time. Lost my connection to wow 5 mins ago ... and ping was intermittent for 2 mins .. then it all came back to normal .. but of course all party was dead because I was healing.... Ogero is getting worse and worse.
This is partly my fault. It's a habit for things to turn to shit whenever I want to use them. (I applied for Ogero a short while ago)DG wroteOgero is getting worse and worse.

Sorry did I say 19.5 to 22.5dBs, I just checked and my SN margin is now 24 dBs on down! I wonder if this means my line can hold 4mbit/s now.
i have an SNR margin of 35db and they bearly gave me the 4mbps after "100 wasta" even though i can get the 6mbpsRaficoo wroteSorry did I say 19.5 to 22.5dBs, I just checked and my SN margin is now 24 dBs on down! I wonder if this means my line can hold 4mbit/s now.

I need that wasta, IDM isn't giving me 2mbps anymore, even though I was subscribed to 2M for 2 years without any problems, my SN margin is about 20-25 down so I am more than able to get 2mbps.
switch to ogero... they will give you the min of 2mbps.. stable connection as long as the SNR margin is above 10-12 dB... (stable means that you will never get out of sync and you will never get errors if your wires are good quality)Super Official wrotedav wrotei have an SNR margin of 35db and they bearly gave me the 4mbps after "100 wasta" even though i can get the 6mbpsRaficoo wroteSorry did I say 19.5 to 22.5dBs, I just checked and my SN margin is now 24 dBs on down! Wires are 2 year old(new house). And I never got out of sync for these 2 years, i would get 235kb/s on torrents so stable 2mbps, don't know why these assholes throttled me.dav wroteswitch to ogero... they will give you the min of 2mbps.. stable connection as long as the SNR margin is above 10-12 dB... Anybody experiencing disconnections?
My SNR margin sucks and I get 6-8 Mbps with Terranet. Upload= 7.5dB Download=10.5dB
Reading your comments, I'm surprised my line handles it.

i don't know how idm deal with PPPoE but with ogero you will get 220-225kb/s anytime..agree with them for a solution...otherwise you can switch to ogeroSuper Official wroteWires are 2 year old(new house). If IDM doesn't work it out, there is a cable provider in zouk Mikaël giving 4+ MBPS with low pings. Might switch to him.
what i said is 10-12 dB as SNR margin is good for stable connection...and snr margin decreases with the speed delivered on the line.... for example if you have a snr margin of 35db on 2mbps and you want to switch to 4mbps it will decrease for example to 27db... so you can t say well i have 2mbps and my snr margin is 15db and i want the 8mbps...random-username wroteMy SNR margin sucks and I get 6-8 Mbps with Terranet. you have 8mbps and your snr margin is 10db...that means your connection can be stable on 8mbps..and in your case if you switch to 2mbps you will get about 30db snr margin for download...
as for the upload... 7.5 db is very gd for 512kbps or even 1mbps.... i think you have around 800 1000kbps
gd luck :DSuper Official wrotedav wrotei don't know how idm deal with PPPoE but with ogero you will get 220-225kb/s anytime..agree with them for a solution...otherwise you can switch to ogeroSuper Official wrote

Thanks, my case with IDM has been opened since September 27. Almost 1 month, they are saying that they need to send an onsite team, still no response from the onsite team.dav wrotegd luckSuper Official wrotedav wrote

i hope your case will get fixed as soon as possible...what i can say is that ogero has a really good IT team (you can contact 1515 and ask for IT) they will explain everything for you... and also if you re in zouk you can contact mr charbel hanna (i posted his phone number on another topic "internet coverage in zook") and discuss scientifically with him what speed can you get on his or your behalf.. i wish your issue will get fixxed soonSuper Official wroteThanks, my case with IDM has been opened since September 27.
