i went to CO a few weeks ago to upgrade my package from 4mbps 40G to OS 100GB. they said it would activate the first of this month but it is now october 2 and on ogero's website, my package still says 4mbps 40G. Has anyone had this issue before? is this normal for ogero to delay the upgrade?
Send them a message on Twitter with your details and they'll help you out quickly.maulader wrotei went to CO a few weeks ago to upgrade my package from 4mbps 40G to OS 100GB. they said it would activate the first of this month but it is now october 2 and on ogero's website, my package still says 4mbps 40G. In my experience, it has taken them up to the 7th or 8th of the month to initiiate a new plan. I you don't get it by next Monday, call or go there and and get it sorted out.maulader wrotei went to CO a few weeks ago to upgrade my package from 4mbps 40G to OS 100GB. they said it would activate the first of this month but it is now october 2 and on ogero's website, my package still says 4mbps 40G. Has anyone tried the VDSL option from ogero could help me with the below concerns:
1- Do they offer VDSL or VDSL2 ?
2- From where did you buy your VDSL modem ?

Thanks @AVOlio could you possibly share which tp-link you brought, as i need to know if ordering one from abroad might be a better option and avoid tp-link brand.

never mind brought this instead amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013OXVA6M/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 seems the best one for budget and requirements.

just an update, I called them the next day and they said it re-rolls between 1st to 5th of each month. I got the 100 GB on my account yesterday, and tonight I just started receiving open speed.
I'm getting 10 Mbps at 2 km+ from CO. This exceeds my expectations by miles, i was told i wouldn't even get the 4 Mbps before the upgrade.

G.DMT completely stopped working.
So i had to switch back to either multimode or adsl 2+, and now my connection keeps dropping randomly.
I called them right as one of the DC happened, they said that they see the issue and that it's the "transmission mode".

My G.dmt was blocked 1-2 months ago and since then I also get random reboots now although my TP Link modem is new and tested on 2 different UPS. CRC errors are high as usual but it may be a line related problem.

Did anyone in bekaa region had a horrendous gaming night yesterday ? I'm talking about huge packet loss and I think I had to reboot my modem around 5 times in 6 hours.

Bad they dont care about security at all :(
Proof: https://www.ncf.ca/ncf/support/wiki/CERT-announced_vulnerability_of_TP-Link_modem/router
So that's why Sodetel told me to change my modem when I last called them (although my problem was not due to the modem). The funny thing is that I have a model that's not upgradable. I guess I'll change it when I get affected. But for now I'm keeping it for the SNR Margin tweaking feature.
They can easily prevent this attack by firewalling specific ports, but none of ISP's care about that seems.
