And i doubt Ogero can give definitive answer, as even when they developed pricing, it was delayed for weeks by political reasons. So they will be afraid to give any terms again.
I'm sorry to be the one to point this out but what the hell :
"I doubt anybody is more well informed than Ogero = i doubt Ogero can give definitive answer"
You just gave two consecutive statements that are a complete contradiction to one another
Anyway... my point was not related to the terms as much as it is a simple yes or no answer: if i apply for fiber tomorrow., is there a timeline for installation or is it just promotion/launch phase/marketing (i won't cancel with my ISP, 3weeks without internet minimum, before i get an answer from Ogero)
And i hope ppl can see how screwed up it is when you push to sell something that isn't available yet.
It's like opening a restaurant saying we have the best food, you go there and there's nothing for them to serve you, only the phrase: "eventually we will serve you but we don't really know when"
Everything wrong in this country can be summed up to this. It's like certainty freaks the shit out of lebanese
My answer is:
1)Ogero is most informed party, obviously, about fiber plans. They might know steps, but not schedule.
2)Ogero most probably don't have definite answers, as many steps depend not on them, but on MoT, politics, suppliers, customs, funding, etc.
I highly suspect it is feasibility study, where to install first, but it might be considered as preorder too.
Internet service, especially in Lebanon, is not restaurant, you can't compare such matters. I had to relocate several times in my life to get decent internet connection, as my profession is fully dependent on that.
It's totally new service, so anybody who will give some terms is just giving false promises. They have no experience yet in this, so i expect random delays and bumps in implementation at first moments.
