I would like to know your opinion about it since I am targeting laptops with 13.3 or 14 inches screens . Thank you.
Hey, Locha. I re-sell laptops. The Lenovo aren't very hardcore. They use cheap, if not the cheapest, material. If you need something that is heavy duty, walk away from them.
what about this HP although it's a 15.6 inches laptop

HP DV6-6C45 Intel Core i5-2450 8GB Ram 500GB HDD DVDRW 15.6" LED LAN, WIFI HD 7690M XT 2GB Fingerprint /Bluetooth / Cam/ Windows 7 Premium 64-Bit
HP overheats,i couldnt sit with one on my lap for more than 20 mins.
I have an HP Laptop and i know the feeling :) ... But the main topic is whether the Lenovo's specs up there are good or not ...
Lenovo is the secondary brand of IBM, just like Compaq for HP.
I have used and currently own a Lenovo product and I find them very good. They run cool and are very user friendly. They are also known to be sturdy and are not made up of cheap material.
If you want a good laptop that will last you years without giving you a problem than Lenovo is the way to go.
Don't go for HP. HP's may be cheap but they run very hot and may fail after 5 years Max. However, if you're going to use the laptop for light gaming and internet browsing I would recommend you the HP G6. I haven't checked how warm it runs but I heard they were pretty good. The body maybe plastic but it's very sturdy.
Indeed I don't know what Nabs is talking about or if he had a really bad experience with lenovo but they're usually a very solid choice of manufacturer if you're looking for heavy duty.
Lenovos are used by a lot of companies because they are durable no nonsense computers. If you need a laptop for work, school, or just general use, it is a great choice. If you need more multimedia options or a gaming computer, it is best to look elsewhere.
I have owned 2 HPs. I changed 2 hardisks and 2 batteries for each of them
They tend to over heat and then things start to break down in it, and it ALWAYS happen right after the warranty is over. Mice play Hp....nice play

Lenovo sounds like a good choice
But can anyone please share me his opinion about the specs of this laptop ?

I have an HP Dv5(a.k.a "The Oven") since 2008 and with a simple $5 cooling pad and the only problem I ever encountered was a battery change in 2010(due to my habit of letting the laptop run on days end) so far no other errors(hardware related) other than that

I've heard Lenovo is good but not quite the best choice for multimedia-style usage.

also I'm getting a new Dv6(like the one in Lochia's post but with an i7) hopefully in a few days, but if you need an opinion my friend has the same laptops and so far they say they're satisfied with the performance.
Thinkpads are ruggid and well built.. they are made for tough handling and are better than any other laptop in taking abuse, thats the only better thing about Lenovos, the "Ideapads however is like any other laptop in quality.. HP, Toshiba or otherwise

Regarding specs, it is a good laptop with a fast processor, and a powerful gpu so its gamer friendly too :p

Edit: I was refering to the Nvidia but I see you stated Graphic Nvidia GeForce GT 540M 2GB
Intel HD Graphics
- which one is it? Nvidia or Intel shared?

As far as I know, in most new laptops they have a "interchangeable" option where(in this case) you can use the GT 540M for heavy usage(and gaming) and can switch to Intel HD 3000(usually) when you want to save power
as Raficoo said, they are interchangeable. Thank you for your opinions guys !!
If you're looking for quality hardware with a durable and stylish body. A machine that would never really over heats ever under high performance and running some serious software I suggest you get a new Sony VAIO.

I used to have an HP Pavillion for 4 years, used to have insane overheats even if I didn't run any serious software. It had a very weak structure and hardware material that made the screen break on its own after moderate use for 3 times.

Months ago I got a Sony VAIO, I did pay much more than I would if I got a Toshiba or an HP but it is real quality. At my desk I old retro model cars that are heavy and are relatively heavy pieces of metal. They are situated on an elevated position just above where I had the laptop open. There is a book next to them. I wanted to take the book so I pulled it and by mistake the cars(4) got pushed so they started falling on after the other from 1 meter right on the laptop! :P The keyboard and screen got the most hits. At first I thought that something should have broken in the laptop, after taking a look its good was new not even a scratch. Somehow it absorbed the shocks and nothing happened at all. That was an involuntary durability test against heavy shocks from forces around it :P

also here's a nice idea, wait a month until the new HP dv series come out, Ivy-bridge processors and better graphics cards +possibility of a backlit keyboard and a possibly a default 1080p screen(on the dv6/7)

I canceled my order for the Dv6-6C65 and will a wait for the new series to come out

that's NVIDIA® Optimus™ technology
GREAT BATTERY LIFE AND GREAT PERFORMANCE. IT'S THAT SIMPLE.
NVIDIA® Optimus™ technology intelligently optimizes your notebook PC, providing the outstanding graphics performance you need, when you need it, all the while extending battery life for longer enjoyment.
I hear that Lenovo laptops aren't the right choice for a heavy duty use.
I always recommend Sony and people get afraid when they hear about a Vaio. They're not that expensive considering the quality of the product you're buying.

Consider this laptop: VAIO S Series 13.3" Laptop

Hey, look who's talking now :D - The pre-AntiVionist!
