Looking for gaming laptop

Hi, im looking for a gaming laptop capable on running new games (portal 2 , bf3 , cod...) on med settings . From what i have seen in magazines , most laptops...

If there is a difference in price that should be the profit of the guy who is selling to you, because he will get it from Technomenia one way or another.

Yes.
He might not get it from Technomania but instead from another supplier, but that supplier might have gotten it from Technomania.
Whatever Acer product you find with a decent warranty is from Technomania , one way or another

It seems that it depends on the laptop. For me, the CPU and GPU cooler is in the top left corner, so even 1 x 120mm fan on there provides same results regardless. I have spaced the 2 x 120mm fans equidistantly, and that same laptop has been over a 200mm fan, and 2 x 120mm fan, for days of usage, and the 120mm were better in cooling, all the laptop (HDDs even), since they provide more pressure and more directional airflow. Other than that, they're largely the same. Since on all surfaces I have gotten the same temperatures, the surface didn't affect any temps with me, but steel may lower it a bit, idk.

ill try the new max temp with prime 95,what option did you use again ? small fft's ?

@Shant: no I use in-place large FFTs. They give negligible difference though. According to Prime95, in-place large FFTs give maximum heat and power consumption, though for pure CPU stability, small FFTs may be better, since in-large FFTs use a bit of RAM.

Toshiba laptops have bad GPU problems , Acer are better then Toshiba when it comes to gaming.
So just go get the offer.

The acer aspire 5750g is only execlusive to technomania. I called the acer وكيل he said they gave the offer only to technomania which is no longer a official dealer. So im kind of confused.

Does anyone know the difference between travlemate and aspire series or between the above laptop and the 5750g?

I personally think that travelmate is meant for people on the go, hence longer battery life, while the Aspire is having the best tech for the buck, They are the ones in Multimedia and Gaming

Then there is Gateway, Packard Bell, Emachine
