Spent the whole day finding alternatives... Ended up with a semi-vps (cloud server by Redhat Openshift) 24/7 free server...
Only allows port 8080, inbound + outbound, thats why its free I guess (This method is posted by Openshift blog, so its is not considered as hacking)
Too bad, in order to connect to the server you will have to use PuTTY SSH tunneling...
Thats the only way to host a FREE Minecraft server in Lebanon, either hosted on your own PC, or through a cloud server, or just praise the lord if your ISP port forward... (IDM port 22 is open! ===> Tunneling)
+ This is way better than hamachi in terms of latency, performance + 24 hours server...
Steps for connecting, and I'm sure nobody will do this :P Just a solution for later purpose:
The SSH server needs a white-list file (Private key) from every user connection:
1)Install PuTTY, comes with PuTTYGen
2) Launch PuttyGen:
Click generate...
Send me the public key, in that dialog... (PM me) For whitlisting..
4)Then launch PuTTY:
EDIT: Click open... :P
Aaaaand thats it! :P
The best part is the latency, pings where about 90-120 ms, surprisingly, RedHat servers might be located near the middle east maybe...
Cloud developer server specs:
512 MB Ram, unknown CPU (but it seems powerful)... Might hold up to 4 players, without plugins + The new minecraft server is more optimized than previous versions.. (tested, not a slight lag)
