Beej
500 of a good quality, if your not sure get higher psu. Also depends on your system as a whole.

It would , but I wouldn't recommend it , because you need more then 500W to have some breathing room

guys amd is a big no no, they can screw up stuff in just 1 second, im used to nvidia ill stick with that, if i sell my 460 its, my max budget is gonna be around 300-320
if i wait for 600 series, my 460 price=dead
i bought this damn card for 304$ -.-
if only pc and parts would provide the damn original 3 year warranty!!
ILIA_93
Well waiting for the GTX6xx would be a good choice, since we're just some months away from the release, and by summer, I guess they will be available in Lebanon with reasonable prices (300$ for price/performance card, mostly would be GTX660). And when I played BF3 with my card, I was really satisfied with it for the mean time, it's just a great card for this time, and for "engines like FrostBite2" era too. If you really want a GTX560ti, put your GTX460 voltage at 1.075v, and your core clock at 900Mhz and memory clock at 2000Mhz. That was the only 900Mhz overclock I could get with my card.

that would just kill my card,it already overheats like crazy for no reason on stock
ILIA_93
It seems you did something wrong "maybe" when you reinstalled the fan, cause I though my overheating problems was because of the card, while the card was hungry for cool airflow, I ran the 900Mhz for 30mins with max 78c. Stock give me now 60c under load (at 100% fan speed).
And since yasamoka gave it a look, I can't add anything to the master's opinion... It's not a cooling problem.

73C for me on 100% fan, its still high, when i first brought it it was around 60C with 40%(auto) fan or so the first few months, then temps suddenly jumped! my fan on 100% is as loud as frio running full speed so can't do that either
Firas
my order was
Asus ENGTX560 Ti DCII/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560Ti 1GB DDR5
I got this

i thought it had 2 fans??

u should return it because it is the older edition direct cuii is quite better. I have the gtx 580 direct cu ii it overclocks like hell reached 920 core clock, bf3 runs so smooth at ultra.
Firas
i think this pc and parts dude gave me DC not DCII
DC goes for 200$
i payed 330$
bluffed?
Firas
or its the older version, im confused, HALP

this was solved by purchasing an aftermarket cooler, tho i still don't know what caused the sudden temp rise
