Its not heating AT ALL , it barely reaches 67 C ( 70 if playing time exceeds two hours ), also I'm pretty sure Stealth mode is turned off (mode that clocks down the CPU and GPU for less power consumption), and I would like to fix the HDMI issue indeed, but I cant install windows xp on this laptop, any suggestions ?

EDIT: temp values, just checked again.
@ Leonedes: What resolution are you using?

A gtx 460m Is not comparable to 550ti, altough it has same number of shader. Now if we eliminate the mem speeds, and focus on core clock, the gtx 550 ti is @ 900/1800 where as the 460m is @ 675/1350. Am not insulting your laptop. It is a gaming one make no mistake.

Also here is a review of an msi laptop with i7 2630, a gtx 560m, and an ssd (note that BF3 stores textures on your hardirve, so an ssd does indeed make things run a bit better).

Here is what they got:
Resolution : 720 low, min: 44 avg: 72
720 high min: 34 avg: 49

Anyway, a gtx 560m is the same as your but oced 100mhz more. So i think its normal fps that your getting.
I am getting 40~50 FPS on Ultra using my rig in my signature.

Resolution is 1600 x 900 (20 inch widescreen).

Ah yes you're right. Since the default GTX260 shader clock is 1242MHz, and the 550Ti is almost equal is performance, I supposed that they would be quite similar in shader clocks. But it seems the 550Ti is weaker in some other aspects.

Anyways, what I understood is that his average framerate is 30FPS since he implied that it's almost constant. @Leonedes: maybe you have VSync turned on? Check. That could make you stay on 30FPS unless you achieve 60FPS in a less demanding part.
I just bought a used HDD for Xbox360 so I can install the HD pack, even without it it looks better than the PC version with ''suggested'' settings, this game is most power hunger
