Metalloy I want to record my guitar playing while plugging the guitar directly to my macbook pro; some guys told me that I need some sort of a device specialized for mac, I dont know what it's called or from where to get it, any help?
samer Just plug your jack into the line in, it has a pre-amp so it should work fine. You'll probably need a jack(female)-to-3.5mm(male) adaptor to be able to get it into your mac.
MrClass Just plug and play, amps are already built-in. Though shouldn't the jack be male as well? (Not very familiar with guitar audio setups)
Metalloy I do have such a jack but it didn't work good enough, so I suppose I should buy a new one, that's it?
