Of course not! They are TELLING you there is FUP.
But not the specifications of the FUP, so if we work on this basis, the FUP limits should be around this same capacity and not more.

We used to have 128K up to 1M now we have 1M up to 8M with capacities which were 1GB up to 4GB to 4GB up to 25GB per month. How is that slow ? It's not slow at all, it's 4 times the speed we used to have, packages are not limited at all! I am a heavy downloader and 10GB is pretty sufficient for me. Prices may slightly be cheaper but they are still cheaper than what we had before. It's better than nothing. Fiber Optics are confirmed by MoT and posted by them officially on Facebook, these cables will bring us very very small latencies below 10ms to the ISP's servers, unlike now we have 50 to 100ms, and the connection will be much much more stabler.
Yes, in plain numbers that's true, there is a positive trend. However, compared to what was expected it is nothing.
On a second subject, 10 GB does not classify as a heavy downloader unless you are telling me about the package you receive (and not counting the unlimited night download), but we shouldn't have to wait for night to come for us to enjoy the internet.
Furthermore, the IMEWE cable was also posted "officially" and all sort of sources and they delayed the project several times so don't expect the real date to be the one provided by them.

I had a 128K unlimited plan before the IMEWE update and was very satisfied with it. FUP is not unbearable, it's usable, not fast but very usable.
Unlimited plans are great because you will never be disconnected by the reason of limits. For example, if I change my subscription from 2M to 1M unlimited, instead of downloading torrents at 12AM at 200KB/s I can download all day at 100KB/s or even 60/40/30 but not just for 8 hours, I can download at 30KB/s all day 24/7.
Something which shows that you and me have very different definitions of what a normal internet should be like. To me having speeds reduced (if I'm not mistaken) to around 15 kb/s is something I consider unbearable. But you need to consider that this FUP might not be activated right when you cross the 4 GB barrier or the one the regular plan does but before, so as to account for the bandwidth that you will use whilst Fupped as well.
Lastly, do you remember last year Sodetel also had a "unlimited" plan? I was trying to send you the link to the forum discussion during it's time but can't seem to find any.
Anyway, they did the same offer, very cheap unlimited package but guess what? for a regular user it was useless. The only market this package was directed towards was the very light one.
All in all Avok, you can't download all day long even if it's unlimited, the reason? The FUP, so once you use a given daily or weekly limit you will have a FUP enforced unto you for a certain period of time.
