No it did not get worse. Speedtest.net is not reliable at all. Last night I had a result pretty close to what you got, then I downloaded some 25MB file, and speed was around 110KBps and it was steady!

Not only the line was working 15 mins per hour yesterday night but I couldn't access the speedtouch menu anymore!!
It was telling me that I don't have sufficient privileges then ''configuration succefull'', can they mod the router and block it from their offices or we will be able to enter speedtouch.lan again later?

Hi Guys,

I live in Mansourieh, I have an Ogero connection (Still own the old modem though).

It has been going and coming back every hour or so for an hour :P for the past week, today it got dced totally.

Tried calling them and they close the lines in your face.

Anyone knows what's happening ? Plus, shall I change my old Ogero modem in order to have the 2mb upgrade from 512, or the old one is ok ?

Dude the ''old'' modem is capable of handling Lebanese ADSL connections for 10 years, you think 2mb is ''new''????
2mb was a connection for 2001 in France, it was 10 years ago...now they are at 100mb
So when you say ''new'' 2mb it makes me laugh

Hehe, I know my bros live in the us, they got a crazy connection over there and at the same price for a 512 here.

Tx for clarifying the modem issue, I guess it's not the issue.

Whether or not this is related to an eminent upgrade it's unknown

It has happened several times for me, and still no upgrade

Stat page shows 1mb/s down.

Same here. My connection started disconnecting every 15 min last night @ around 12 AM but there was no change in the connection speed it is till capped at 1 mbps.

Yes, I am getting this error but this happens every month just before the 15th i.e. billing time. I think they update the bills manually or something archaic similar to that.

But with IDM i got a higher ping just one week ago ..
Someone said that they changed something ..
So in conlcusion they did that : Good ping with slow speed -> good speed with bad ping
That's kinda weird ..

My ping got upgraded its now below the 200ms i used to get 450 to this server, but speed still the same
