im like the only lebanese thats not waiting for a better speed just better pings, can someone tell me how to upload pictures here to show a couple of print screens taken on a different downloads, the fastest i reached during the day was 1340 Kbs , downloading windows 8 , the only thing that changed from 4 months during all this fast internet thing is my ping , its getting better my ping to ca was 1300 ms went down to 509 and im promised it will go down to - 100 +, lebanon just suffers from a very poor backbone ! .

wise has upgraded!!! mine has become 1mb with 12gb limit a month for 27$ and my friend who had 512 is also upgraded to the same plan, we both live in mazra3et yechoo3

and this is supposed to be 1mb =D
and my ping has somewhat improved to bbc.co.uk it is now averaging @ 75ms !!!

its not about ISPs, its about when they upgrade the COs: depends on where you live and not what ISP are you.
my CO is kfrayassine (keserwan) not yet :/

and can i change my quota to 6 GB up and 2 GB down with Ogero?

I got the 1 Mbps speed, but now I'm back to the old lame 256Kbps!!!! WTF!

Hi guys,
I have a big problem here. One week ago my internet got faster. I had 256kb and I now have 1mb. My download speed is very good. But my problem is the ping !
My ISP is IDM. One week ago my ping to google was between 150 and 200. That was normal. But when they installed " the new net " my ping is now 350 - 400 to google .. So I called them and I made their connection test . Then they said that 400 ping to internationnal servers was normal .. And when I told them that I used to have arround 170 ping before the new installations they said that that wasnt normal at all -_- . So now I am confused .. Anyone here got a solution or have as ISP IDM and have a normal ping ?

They were using a regular fiber connection when you had 170ms ping. then they went back to satellite and they won't admit it. Ping never tells you anything useful anyway.

But the thing is that I can notice the difference with the ping when I am playing online .. And that's is very anoying .. But why did they do that ? Are they gonna go back on regular fiber connection ? Because I suppose they wont answer me ..

best ping for online gaming is Ogero, reaches 90-100ms without the upgrade (512k) , ISPs ping for online gaming is never stable it might reach 400ms up to 2500ms, but u have to wait for **** ogero to move their **** and start implementing the new speeds allowing new users to subscribe ( that's the only problem).
