After working day and night for 3 days, a team from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Ogero and Cisco Technicians successfully installed and integrated new routers that will allow the promised speed upgrades in Ras beirut, Mazraa, Chiah, Achrafieh and Badaro starting tomorrow.
Thank you Mr. Sehnaoui for all the efforts
But the question is: shoudnt be done last month and before the new plans took place??
I now have 1Mbit (ogero). I called to upgrade to 4Mbit, they said the max available is 1Mbit with 10gb up/down limit. the default plan is 4gb. still, better than nothing!
im on 256 Ogero - Khaldeh "centraaal" - i bet in a million years i'll get this update.
Ogero 512 is now 1mb, still the quota's the same 4GB.

I don't believe it!!! I just logged into my account and went to the usage page, I have been upgraded to 1 Gb/256 Mb 4 Gb allowance. Ogero Beirut. I hope that changing plans will not have to wait until the beginning of next month to take effect....
Khaldeh central, Cyberia subscriber 512 old plan, 2M new plan, my quota limit is 20gb since i recharged my account and 2 hours ago my ping is averaging 100-90ms on European servers having previously been 400-500ms
guys i have lower ping on Cyberia (Kfaryassine CO) bbc.co.uk is now ~100ms. before today it was ~350ms
Ogero users it's 1mb not 1GB connection, and it's lame... 4GB for both download and upload... that's really lame.. I called ogero they said starting next month, they may offer better plans...

plan is 2M - quota is 20gb, ping is 90-100ms but still 512 kbps, i guess its only a matter of time by tonight most of beirut will be covered so we're next probably.

Just for clarification its 4gb for upload and 4gb for download its not a split 4gb(2gb up and 2gb down)...
i guess im not happy of the upgrade cause i already had such speeds !

Change in speed has been applied in Ras Beirut, Mazraa, Chiah, Achrafieh and Badaro for public and most private ISP's. Also two routers are currently being delivered and work is underway for other regions to follow. If you're living in one of these areas, share with us your speed test and mention the Region name. My Ogero 256kb/s shows a 1mb on the Ogero' "check your limit" page
