I want to ask something . i am with IDM (1 Mbps) and i noticed the following:
- if i download using internet download manager, the download speed is ALWAYS constant at around 100kb/s even in peak times.
- if i download without using internet download manager, the download speed can drop to 40-50 kb/s in peak times.

what is the explanation for that? what does internet download manager do to keep my download speed constant in peak time? i actually never worry about download speed in peak time as i always use internet download manager.

Guys, Kindly stop posting same question in multiple topics.
Ramnesia wroteI came across this article, i don't known if it is useful concerning the free night quota, but someone asked the minister about it and he said they are preserved.

So now we know that the minister said unlimited nights are gonna stay from that conference, and also his adviser said they will stay from his Twitter, I just hope that paper is a case of an misinformed employee/manager, oh well, three days to go, tick tock...
The Decrees also say we're losing free nights. I would trust these the most.
Decree 8058 which put free nights into law, was cancelled by the latest decree.
Well did anyone try Walid Karam on twitter too? As i recall he said free night quota will be untouched.
He also said anyone living up to 4 or 5 km away from the CO should be able to achieve a 2Mbps download speed. Yet so many people cannot even maintain a stable connection on 256kbps. I wouldn't take his words for granted.
