Anyone has any ideas on what will happen to pay-as-you-go?

Side question: Is it true that you can download as much as you want on DSL regular plans from 11pm to 7am ???
It depends on the ISP and the plan, and where you live. I have the SoDeTel Regular 512K plan, with unlimited from 11pm to 7am. It's a big help.thegodfatherdany wroteSide question: Is it true that you can download as much as you want on DSL regular plans from 11pm to 7am ???
However, you'd need to check if this service is available in your region, before applying. I made sure to have the sales dept check before I signed on. Not all areas can benefit from it.

I have a question. when i test my speed at speedtest.net it gives me a terrible ping as in the picture :

when i test it from pingtest.net it gives me the regular ping for my plan ( sodetel 256k) :

so any one can explain to me what's happening.

Different servers, not necessarily same result.A.L wroteI have a question. when i test my speed at speedtest.net it gives me a terrible ping as in the picture :

Does Sodetel use a different link for http and non http connections?
Our 1Mbps with IDM today got upgraded to 4Mbps automatically, it's now
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1.098 / 4.399 on the Speedtouch.
However the speeds we're getting are still 1Mbps.
I think they just switched the modem.

The modem used to connect at 1Mbps
Today we had a disconnection for about 30 minutes...when i went to the modem page to reconnect, the DSL connection speed was 4.399

yea mine too it gives you the max speed i have a 512 connection from idm before it was 1mbps now its 4mb i think idm wont offer the 6-8mb speed can anyone explain this
what is the 6-8mb speed? is it a 6, 8 or just in between?
Guys, that means the connection speed between your modem and the CO is upgraded, still waiting for speed upgrade from the ISP itself.
That could explain why he's getting different ping results on pingtest and speedtest then.nuclearcat wrotehussam - Most of ISP's do that, in Leb. Except Ogero.hussam wroteDoes Sodetel use a different link for http and non http connections?
@nuclearcat: is there a way to tracert the HTTP connection ?
Guys, remember to keep this topic for questions. No speed tests (unless they answer a question) – use the "IMEWE effect over time" topic for that.
Yes we did.TPR0 wroteDid any one see this? (terranet users) sorry if this was already asked...
is 1mb internet connection enough to watch a youtube video on 360p without buffering?
