RyanAn wroteHi,

Since when do Ogero have plans higher then 1mb available, I thought it was only 1mb for now, are the 2 and 4 available as well ?

I don't care to be honest about the download speed, I want to know that currently I get on the ogero 1mbps a 105-130 ping for gaming, if I get the 2 mbps, will my ping better or it's not relevant ?

Thanks
ping is irrelevant from the connection speed.
Ok thanks, I guess there is no need for an upgrade

@ gamer4life, can you please post pingtests to EU and US? I'd like to see the Jitter :D
sorry foe the late reply.
Mmmmmm It seems my connection is back to low latency but with a bit high jitter, it's still smoothly playable.

I currently live in bchamoun and the last time I had dsl was with the 256 kb ogero DSL they upgraded to 1 Mb but I was still on 256 kb so I had to change to VISP but I'm having trouble with disconnections, high ping rates and download limitations

Can someone please help me and tell me what's the best option for my area

Hmm I could'nt even get I-Fly in my region. IDM recommended their Wise Box, which is http://www.idm.net.lb/products/wise.asp
and apparently it's not that good for gaming, according to the feedback I got. Any other solution for gaming? Cheap one of course :P

Hi all.
I noticed that recently Sodetel has offered 24/7 unlimited DSL (i.e. without a quota) at a speed of 1 MB for 25.
Are any of the other internet providers offering unlimited bandwitdh that's not just during the night?
What's the best offer?

Does winter affect my internet service?
because ever since the weather my pings in all my games are 500+ instead of 100< :/
You first need to mention what kind of internet you have. If you have DSL my opinion would be unless there was some damage due to the recent weather, the weather should not affect your connection.
I have cable, my pings were 70-110 in everything, ever since the storm hit, its been fluctuating to 6000, and its still on till now.

They claimed it is VISP problem... and customer should change ISP. Very irresponsible people, to make such statements, when problem are on their side.

Sodetel and Ogero are finally coming to my village and I like to play online games like league of legends, world of warcraft, and diablo 3. So which is better for online play? One that doesn't budge or get a lag any minute of the day or when someone is downloading.
