I was on 4 Mbps and now at 14 Mbps. A windows update download rate is maxing at 1,762 kB/s.
My line stats are found below. Anything I can do to make things better or this is it?
DSL Type ADSL_2plus
DSL Mode Interleaved
Maximum Line rate 1.12 Mbps 18.19 Mbps
Line Rate 1.01 Mbps 15.77 Mbps
Data Transferred 875.36 MBytes 1326.1 MBytes
Output Power 10.4 dBm 23.1 dBm
Line Attenuation 12.8 dB 24.5 dB
Noise Margin 7.5 dB 10.7 dB

Only thing you all can do is change your internal cabling(i will do it tomorrow), also 14mb actual speed for 24.5db line attenuation is very good but maybe changing cables can make it even better
My building has no phone box so I had to run an external wire from the adjacent building then bring it up to a splitter/filter so that i connect it to my phone and modem.Ahmad Toutounji wroteOnly thing you all can do is change your internal cabling(i will do it tomorrow), also 14mb actual speed for 24.5db line attenuation is very good but maybe changing cables can make it even better
Inside the walls, I turned the sockets from RJ to Ethernet so that I can connect another router to cover another area.
What do you suggest I do?

these are my line stats,
i think it is perfect,
but the FEC/CRC is about 4 to 6 crcs per hour
and 17 to 20 FEC per hour,
fastpath not interleaved, and At ADSL 2+
put on G.D.M,T
i got 10 Mbps , max rate, with not a single CRC Or fec, all the day
is there something to worry about?

Seems nice, no problem. Although G.DMT max rate is max 8Mbps so I don't know how you got 10Mbps.breathino2 wroteMode: G.992.5_Annex_A

Tonight it's definitely slower, some web pages are even having difficulties to open, max download is 1.35mb/s instead of 1.9mb/s
I have made some research on the SNR margin and it turns out that some modems having a broadcom chipset can alter the target SNR.
I hope someone lucky enough to have a broadcom chipset is interested in trying it. http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/how-to-make-adsl-connection-faster-snr-tweak.717925/

Thats G DMT,
And the same stats on adsl2, and T1 413,
10mb max .. but much stability and no crcs .. fec hec,...
So lil crcs wont be bad on adsl2+?
I play online gaming
I can change mode gdmt while gaming
And when surfing adsl 2+
I do get high CRC bursts while gaming which affects the gaming a lot. But if your CRC is low it won't really affect anything
what is low, and what is high per hour ?Adnan wroteI do get high CRC bursts while gaming which affects the gaming a lot. But if your CRC is low it won't really affect anything
and how it affects the gaming, much much lag ?
or what ?
please :)

Ok so it really depends on how the CRC bursts into your line. In my case I have an electrical interference with the buildin'g elevator which causes the SNR to drop to 3dB. While the SNR is at 3dB I get 10 additional CRC everytime I refresh the modem page by slamming the F5 key until the elevator stops (no joke). This causes my rainbow six siege game to kick me out and all my connectivity to drop.
If you CRC is not concentrated in a small amount of time, then you should be ok.
I don't really have concrete values per hour, but you should notice it right away if you're suffering from it. Of course CRC doesn't have to do with ping, if high CRC values are present then your whole connection is hanging.
Good: I just got kicked out of the game and my character wasn't moving. It should be the CRC errors! *Checks router stats*
Bad: I have 150ms ping, it should be the CRC errors! *Cries*

So....
You wanna know how I went from this

To this

And even this !!!

Even manually downgraded to this !!!!

Using only a command prompt ?
All on ADSL2+ Annex A ?
Stay tuned ...
Teasers aside, I'm not telling how it works yet because I want to make sure it's actually working, which I'll do tomorrow during the day :)

Good morning.
i am subscribed to cyberia 4mb plan. in the morning the speed was 13 down/ 1 upload.
has anyone noticed any changes with cyberia.

What was the uptime of the modem, if it's more than 24h then it is OK , not good but acceptablekfc wroteagain, is this normal?

Output Power (0.1 dBm): 181 122

these are my new stats?
i'm still only getting 3.75MB/s on speedtest
what is expected speed when upgrade completes?
thanks
