kareem_nasser wrotewollyka wrotehishjwnz wroteGuys what does it mean when my router indicates that my max rate has increased to 4Mb/s while the actual speed is still around 2 Mb/s.
I'm on IDM and the same has happened at my sis (Sodetel) although she has a max of 18 Mb/s and speed still at 4 Mb/s

My modem is synchronizing at 12997 since months now but my speed is capped at 8 Mbits. IDM/GDS and mazraa CO. When i asked IDM, they told me they upgraded the centrale but their limiting my PPPOE connection at 8 Mbits.
Could you please share your line stats, SNR Margin and Line Attenuation mainly?
Here you go
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.5
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 767 / 12.997
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/MB]: 148,50 / 656,47
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12,1 / 18,4
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 9,0 / 14,5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 23,7 / 11,0
my SNR margin got worse this week ,i was getting 14 with the same stats, bandwidth and Attenuation .
