chassis wroteAll those who were pre-thanking imad kreidieh and showering him with compliments, don't you realize that we deserve wayyy more than what he just gave us, 2mb unlimited for 60,000 ?? realy .... just because our plans were shit before doesn't mean we must accept any upgrade and have the attitude that (well its better than before)... the unlimited plan should be set to a minimum of 4mb and we should be given the option for higher unlimited plans even if they are priced high...the fact that we need unlimited nights for these plans to work means that these plans are not good! but hey that's just my opinion
Keep in mind, while he has a say on how the packages are structured and priced, it is up to the ministry to do the actual pricing and if you read through his tweets, he explicitly says that. What most of us are thankful for, is that for a change, in his short tenure, he has done more with his 4 months that his predecessor did in the last 10 years and it feels like we are headed in the right direction, instead of neutral or in reverse. We still have a long way to go because we were so far behind and the fact that he is fielding comments and questions through social media is a welcome change from other public officials in this country.
And yeah, I do agree that the unlimited plan is still too expensive, but given how many in this country would just get the package, and resell it to friends and neighbors, the potential for abuse is still high and lowering the speed helps mitigate some of the issues.
