maulader wroteIt seems the best choice so far for everyone is to stay put and not do any "upgrades" on their plans for this month. This mess is obviously gonna stay for awhile and we have to wait for things to stabilize hopefully.
I was planning to switch IDM even though I just switched to Ogero couple of months ago, or at least change my plans but I'm just going to stick my 1mbps 40gb plan for awhile it seems. Maybe apply for a cable on the side for download? who knows ><
While I agree with you 100%, only my current cycle ends on the 22nd, in a week, and according to IDM CCU, I can refill with any of the following (pic).
That being said, they told me that contrary to what is written on the site, "Limited" plans have no FUP. That is why I want to know from someone that has such a limited plan to see if what they say is true. FUP is applied on "Unlimited" plans mainly during the day.
How do I know that ? Well if you on an "Unlimited" plan, try downloading something after 11PM and check your account and notice that the so called counter stops counting MBs just as if you were on a "Limited" plan with free night quota.
What matters to me is the fact of not having to suffer FUP during the day time so I can do my work. I am taking Live video courses about Ubuntu and Repo Syncing to start building my own Android ROMs. I need the speed more than Quota during that time. At night I download stuff while I sleep.
Hope that clears up my situation.
