Kareem where is your CO located ?

It's worse by the minute. I get disconnected (last led "internet") goes off for several minutes. Totally unusable for playing online games.

It looks like there's a big problem with the Internet... something similar to what happened back in October 2010 when DSL went down for 2-3 days in the entire country.

Bir Hassan, I called Ogero and they confirmed the random disconnections, they said :

" 3am nesteghil bel Centralet "

They said things should be Ok before night.

Yep same happened with me. Ping to google is back to 100-103 now though

Hi again,

Anyone getting a lot of "request timed out" (Ogero and other ISPs) when pinging bbc.co.uk or google.com ?
I am also getting very low download speeds for the past few days... this mostly happens at night.
I need to know if the problems are related to my CO (Antelias) or are on a larger scale... entire Lebanon.

whenever im in the 94.* IP range of Ogero its terrible, but other IP ranges are fine in terms of latency; not to mention less disconnections.

Quite ironic (this isn't the first time it has happened) happened some time around the beginning of this year.

The irony resides in the fact that someone at Ogero (management, technicians, etc...) probably messed up big time and they are trying to fix this problem while denying there's anything wrong (to buy themselves additional time) when you call them.

The biggest proof to my words is the following line given to me by the representative at 1515: "Estez ma ken fik totossil 3al 1515 bel week-end la2ano ken 3alayna ktir daghet khtout... ekhir shi battalna nredd".

Yes, ladies and gentlemen... that is literally what he said. If this doesn't mean people from all around Lebanon were calling (thus meaning the problem is on a national scale)... then I have nothing more to add.

They messed up, they will eventually fix it (soon enough, let's hope) and like every other mess in this country... it will be quickly swept under the carpet and ignored.

The speedtest gave 0.62 mb !!!
It's very weird because I am downloading a file right now with 200kb/s though it's very unstable,it keeps going down to 100kb/s then go up to 200kb in cycles.
Looks like ogero has not stabilised the connections

Well... I think all of us are affected by the ongoing Ogero maintenance.
Regular disconnections since Feb 18.
If it means they are working to IMPROVE the national network then it's fine by me.
But if it's yet another failure on their part then really what can I say...

IDM's 1 Mbps plan very unstable and speed keep fluctuating between 10 and 120 kb/s!

If you think IDM is unstable you should see Ogero.
I have a 512kbps connection and, for the past few days, it can drop as low as 70kbps when using speedtest !

70 kbps means 9 kb/s which is not different than the 10 kb/s I sometimes get on IDM. :P

Does anyone know when Ogero's "Khalde" branch will be updated?
i'm just sick of this 256 kb/s connection

they said that they're working on it, always the same answer

I hope you are able to do this because even that simple request I wasn't able to get from the Antelias CO.
When it was confirmed that our 512 connection could not be upgraded to 1MB, I asked if at least we could move from 4GB to 10GB quota. The guy played around with his computer for 20 seconds then said: "No it's not possible, it doesn't work."

Of course it doesn't. They would rather have us pay extra quota.

hey guys I was wondering if I can use linksys voip with terranet plans on ADSL as I bought one already. But what I heard that on ADSL plans voip are blocked from ogero so can any body help me with that ??
