its all grey area atm, all of the dsl providers claiming to start frm 1st oct, and mobi from 15th oct

:)
no, wise isnt specifying any dates, I called them twice last week they said nothings for sure and they are waiting for ogero...and they have this written on there website...
Following the decision of the Lebanese government to enhance the internet service in Lebanon, Wise is pleased to inform you that internet packages will soon be changed accordingly. Stay tuned!
I am downloading Nokia Ovi 3.0 from the Nokia website. 230KB/s download speed all the way!!!
My cousin has cyberia DSL 128kbps
They sent him an sms that his account will be 1mbps starting oct 1st
Thanks Paladin & ILIA_93

So For those who has a PC, PS3, and XBOX Consoles, don't forget that BattleField3 online multiplayer Demo will be available today 29/9/2011
...for those in lebanon, it should be available like around 8 am and 11 am.

Good LUCK! and see ya in the battle :P
Guys i just got this SMS from Cyberia:
Dear Cyberia Customer, your ADSL will be upgraded DURING October. New prepaid cards available as of 29 September...
Yep me too!
So we will have to pay the new +10$ card for the same speed! :(
Why I was sure about it?
mohammadk97 wroteWhen Ogero will speed up the internet?
according to what Sehnaoui said, October 1, in 24hours and 23minutes it should appear clear ;)
Vegetaleb, you are only talking about the 2Mbps speed, all other prices are better. That's fine for a start though!
Isn't supposed to be 10mb and 20mb speeds? why they get back to slow 2mb and 4mb?
Just to say that in France they have now 100mb, just 50x faster than the praised 2mb we will have and for 30 euros only (41$)
Guys, stop complaining about the internet situation, Mr. minister is doing a great job, and we cannot do one jump from 128-256-512 Mbps to 20-50-100 Mbps, a lot of work is still in progress.

Personally, i will judge the minister after one year form now, and my eyes on 3G improvements, DSL stable and good situation, and of course cheap voice communications.

Finally, i think that this situation is very good when comparing to the Hell of Marwan Hmade and Abdel Menhem Youssef.
I emailed IDM that I don't want to be upgraded to the 1mbps package but the 2mbps package w/ 20 GB quota (the natural transition of my 512Kbps package) and they replied that I will be upgraded to 2Mbps and 10GB.

WISE:Since we did not yet receive the upgrades from the ministry of telecommunications, we will implement the new ADSL packages starting the 1st of November 2011. In any case, if during October the infrastructure becomes ready, we will automatically upgrade all our packages.

For what price? since the 2Mbps comes with 20GB as standard and priced at 50$
Vegetaleb, as i said, it's a good start. Let's be reasonable, 8Mbps is the max speed the infrastructure CAN support. Let's be positive specially that this minister is working hard. I hope you watched last night's episode.

On another hand, ISP prices are almost the same as Ogero's. Servers will be updated tomorrow but i do expect 7 days of delay.

In France they also have 24/7 electricity, decent roads, good wages, good benefits, great retirement plans and so on...
